Mini biography
Jay Kenneth Johnson was born in Springfield, MO to Janice Johnson and Ken Johnson. Johnson attended Kickapoo High School, graduating in 1995 (the same high school as another Springfield, MO resident-Brad Pitt). He landed his first small role on the Young and the Restless just a few months after dropping out of Southwest Missouri State University and moving to California. Just weeks later Johnson was given his part as Philip Kiriakis on the longtime daytime serial Days of Our Lives. Johnson enjoys singing and formed a band in Springfield.

Here we're getting the eps of DOOL he appeared in and I completely fell for Philip/Jay.There's something about him...you can't but be drawn to this guy.

I'm really happy he got a role on primetime TV

Yeah me too! I never watched DOOLS alot during the day because I was always busy. But he did a great job playing Philip. Jay on Prime time is going to be great. I can't wait for the premier of the show!

Definitely.Phillip and Chloe were so damn cute!Jay was soooo good in that role.You could never really tell if the character was good or bad,and that made it all very interesting.

JKJ!!! JKJ!!!

I was a HUGE Philip fan back in the day and adored Philip and Chloe. Stupid Brady for screwing that up. :/ Anyway, I think JKJ is awesome and I'm SO excited about his role in North Shore!!

I LOVE this guy. I was so sad when he left DOOL. I'm glad we get to see his cute face grace our television screens again.
