Bradin/Sarah: I think the storyline was played out well even though i dont care for this couple at all. I'm Anti sarah/Bradin. But i'm glad he got her help. I knew something was fishy with her i mean what parents leave there child home alone all summer? I had a feeling she lied about where her parents were.
Bradin/Callie: Could these two have not been anymore cuter? I see a romance/relationship coming about between them. And i think Ava likes her over sarah then again who wouldn't? I mean i get why Callie was being all snobbish and mean to bradin in the beginning because he totally blew her off to be with sarah in that last ep.But i'm glad she helped him out with her in the end.
I totally agree with you on this, Karyn. I'm not for Bradin/Sarah either but I was really happy to see he got her some help. It's kinda freaky that Sarah lied about all that, though. I mean, what was she planning to do when they got to Mexico? Weird. Bradin and Callie are the cutest thing! "aunt Ava, I'd like you to meet my good friend, Callie" aww. I'm interested to see how this works out. By the way, I loved Callie's hair. She looked very pretty.

I was happy to see that Jay finally said I love you. I knew it was comming. Those two are adorable.

Susannah was hilarious in this eppy! The bounce house thing I love her.

ETA: I forgot to say that I loved the scene between Nikki and Bradin talking about Kansas and everything. It was a really cute scene.

I agree that this ep was better than most, but I have a few complaints -- mostly general: (okay, maybe I shouldn't talk since I kept on switching over to Big Daddy on USA Network, but I saw 85% of it)

-- Jay/Erika are my favorite couple on the show, but the writers are TELLING me they love each other. they didn't get enough screentime for me to actually feel it, but I'm glad, nonetheless, I suppose. I like J/E, but the writers haven't established it enough yet for the big I love you declaration. :/

--Bradin/Sarah: Whateeeeeeeeva. Don't care. Bradin/Callie, I could get behind, if the actress playing Callie wasn't so...bland. um, maybe she'll improve?

-- this is going to sound mean. that's okay, sometimes, I'm a mean person, but Nikki is so pasty that sometimes it pains me to look at her. plus, boring storyline.

Things I liked:

--J'ADOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE SUSANNAH. Puncturing a bounce house with her Jimmy Choos? HAH. I wish they'd have more of a focus on her and less on Ava 'cuz she is so above and beyond awesome.

--despite some of my misgiving, I did have love for Jay/Erika. <3

--(mostly) everyone on this show is a normal size! Yay for healthy body image!

um, and other stuff, but I forgot, doesn't really matter. overall, I liked it a lot. the show is improving with each episode and most of my complaints aren't really my issues with the ep, but my issues with the series in general. Summerland's biggest problem is that the storylines/characterization/etc lack subtlety and...so, you know.

also, about the e-mails -- see, most teenage girls with Sarah's measure of intelligence would not have e-mails with proper capitalization and grammar and just plain ol' black-and-white! Sarah, I imagine, would write bright pink, bold Comic Sans MS 12 pt font and would be like "i kan't believe u havn't called me yet. call me soon, k? .............................. ok, bye." also, stalker much? Back off, crazy lady!

eta: I seriously do not buy Nikki as this Pride-and-Prejudice-reading super duper smart kid. that's so...shticky. :/

First time posting here. This show is entertaining, eventhough I've come to realize that Ava has the potential to get on my nerves. But I like everyone else. My faves are Susannah, Bradin, and Jay. Who would have thought? When the show started they annoyed me, and I thought I would hate them, but not anymore

This episode was good. I like the whole storyline between Bradin and Sarah. I thought it was well developed. They took their time with that one, and I have a feeling it might not be over yet. I wish they would give the same treatment to Jay/Erika. Those two have really not been developed too much, and at this point I'm running hot and cold with them. One episode I like them, the next I don't really care. I think these two have the potential to become *the* couple on this show, even overshadowing the obvious romance between Ava/Johnny. But the writers def. need to spend more time on them, as a couple and separately as well.

And can anyone clear up the last scene between them for me. Maybe I was too distracted by Erika's fake tears, but I thought she was leaving with her mom? I'm all confused now.

On another note, I like the principal. He's a hottie, and Ava was def. interested.

Susannah and Derrick were priceless I was cracking up everytime they were on screen.

So...Sarah's a pathological liar. I still like her, of course, but this definitely puts everything in a different light. I'm actually really glad they did this to her character. The neglected rich girl storyline is slightly overused. This is better.

As for Callie, I definitely like her even more this ep. She reminds me more and more of the OTH Haley everytime I see her (and she even looks and sounds kind of like Joie). I like her hair curly too.

Everybody is always hilarious when they've had too much coffee. I loved all of Susannah's scenes.

I liked hearing Nikki talk about her mother-daughter book club. I always hated those Chicken Soup for the Whatever Soul books as well.

Was very excited to have the Bradin/Nikki scene. As he mentioned, they haven't been as close in CA as they previously obviously were.

What happened to Cameron? Nikki mentioned him, but she didn't mention whatever happened between them after that jellyfish comment.

I like the MS principal.

It is always a good thing to end an ep with Dido. It fit well, too. And the fact that Callie was there while they were playing "Don't Leave Home" hopefully means that she will be sticking around.
