Just found this thread on page 3! I think we should continue writing here a bit, huh? Ava and Susannah's frindship was so amazing and something really important at the show. At least IMO.

Talking about it... Do you girls remember the episode when Johnny, Susannah and Derrick go camping and Derrick things there's something going on between Johnny and Susannah?

Oh yeah! Susannah has been there for Ava the whole time... When her sister died, the kids came to California and so on... An amazing friendship.

I also love their friendship! Susannah was always there to move things forward when Ava was unsure about herself.
In the pilot, when Ava knew that she was gonna take charge of the kids after her sister's death, Susannah was really supportive. Once Johnny suggested that the kids could move at the house, Ava was like "Are you sure?" and Susannah said "It doesn't matter for sure, that's what we're doing." She never hesitated when there was a big change coming. Because friends need to be there for one another, especially in these times.

Haha that episode where they go camping is the first episode I've seen!
That kiss between Johnny and Susannah was so random! But I would've had the same reaction as Derrick if I were his age!
It really got me confused when I saw this part because since I didn't know anything from the show, I thought Johnny had cheated on Ava! lol
But in fact, this moment didn't mean anything! Thank God! That would have sucked and ruined their friendship! And I agree, Susannah's not that kind of girl.

And I agree with you about Derricks reaction. Same here. He's so young and doesn't get all the adult things.

Yeah I totally agree! It was so sad when Susannah started to go her own way for a few episodes. It seemed that her and Ava didn't have time to talk anymore.

Like in that scene, Ava started to talk about Simon and getting involved in a relationship and then the phone rang and Susannah had to go in her room.
