Yeah, it seems like a school thing more. I think maybe he had problems with his mom in the past, because she said Q was never good in school, so there may have been some arguing between those two... but Q shaped up when he met the Scotts!

That would have been an interesting direction for the writers to go. I'd like to have seen a conversation between N and Q about his childhood. I bet they may have more in common besides basketball and cockiness. Maybe Q had a Dan in his past.

Although I have to say, I careless about many guest stars on OTH and especially the time the writers waste on them but maybe a scene with that kind of convo would have helped in developing a background for Q.

Yes, they started more development with Q in the episode that he died, and it was great. I wish they would have started that sooner.

Yeah, and they made it more obvious that something will happen to him because of the all of the sudden focus and change in Q.

Absolutely. I remember watching that episode and just knowing something bad was going to happen. But honestly, I didn't think he'd die.

I read spoilers, so I knew, but even if I didn't, the sudden turn in his character right before he dies was kinda obvious that something will happen to him.

Yeah...It was obvious something major was going to happen with his storyline, but when he got shot, I was still shocked. I still wish that never happened.

He was. And like we were discussing, I feel like there is so much more we didn't know about him. I just really, really wish they would have brought Dre in earlier, and had more interaction with them. I would have been a happy fan.
