Well, I thought the super short webcam scene we got was adorable, but the lack of Nathan even in the episodes he's in is really disappointing. It's bad enough that James is missing episodes, but even worse that he's hardly been in the episodes that he actually is present for. I don't know if it's James's decision to be featured lightly in the episodes he's in or if that's been Mark's decision, but regardless, it sucks! LOL.

I will say that unlike 9x03, I actually felt Nathan's presence in this episode, so it's not like he's completely gone. I know that he wasn't in 9x03 as opposed to him actually having a really short scene in this episode, but I liked that he was actually mentioned throughout the episode, so it kind of made it feel like he was there even though he really wasn't. I'm not really sure if that even made sense

I'm actually looking forward to next week's episode, despite James not being in it. Given everything that's going on, I think that we'll really feel his presence in the episode even though he won't be there. It won't make up for his absence, but I'm glad it'll be an episode that's focused on him and Haley and the Scott family.

I liked the episode because I love Haley so it definitely helps that she's around mentioning Nathan, it helps keeping NH present in the episode even though Nathan isn't there.

I liked the NHL webcam scene but it was so short... And this is by no means me bashing James because I respect and like him very much but he seemed like he didn't seem very excited to come home but other than that it's adorable he bought Lydia a moose. It was quite sad seeing it abandoned by the street at the end of this episode.

And I'm really excited for the next episode even though Nathan's not in it. I have a feeling the way Joy will deliver this SL will make us feel Nathan in the episodes and NH's love.

While I hate Nate being gone, I did like that they are still trying to find ways to have his “presence” felt.

I agree I appreciate the fact that they're doing this cause to be quite honest, I wasn't really expecting it. I have very little faith in these writers when it comes to NH as individuals and as a couple. I still feel the loss of his physical presence but it's comforting that we can at least still feel his presence.
