Some Roads Lead Nowhere

NATHAN AND HALEY PREPARE TO LEAVE TREE HILL — As Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) prepare for the family’s move to Barcelona, Brooke (Sophia Bush) struggles to accept Julian’s (Austin Nichols) reaction to Alex’s (guest star Jana Kramer) crisis. Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) helps Clay (Robert Buckley) hatch a plan to win back Nathan as a client. Meanwhile, Millie’s (Lisa Goldstein) downward spiral puts her and Mouth (Lee Norris) at a crossroads, and Dan Scott’s (Paul Johannson) pronouncement shocks Rachel (guest star Danneel Harris) and his audience. Antwon Tanner and Jackson Brundage also star.

Ah, I cannot wait til Jan 18th!

The episode was adorable. I loooved the NH and NJ and even N/Dan! Tomato fight was so adorable. Quinn/Clay apologized and he confessed his love for her

Loved that.

Jamie needs to stop being a brat and shut up. The situations he was comparing when trying to say Nathan was too hard on Clay were completely different. The agency was doing the best they could with the limited options they had on the table thanks to Clay's screw-up; Clay was fired because he HAD good options on the table, and he blew it because he was too preoccupied with other things to do his job properly. And that was after being totally incompetent in the way he handled Renee. Nathan too hard on Clay? No.

Just because Clay pulled a deal out of his butt, he's still a crappy agent. He admits to being arrogant, but then continues to be kind of a passive-aggressive jerk. He tells Nathan he has an contract offer waiting for him, and then he says Nathan can only have it on the condition he lets Clay do what helped him screw up to begin with. Yeah. Clay's still a massive fail.

The show has also failed spectacularly to make me believe music is Haley's "dream". I still remember the Haley who said teaching was her dream, and who can't seem to make her mind up while flitting between teaching and music every five minutes. P.S. The awesomeness of Haley's whole family going on tour with her is very much undermined by the fact that, y'know, Nathan wanted to go the first time.

Adorable Nathan/Haley, Nathan/Jamie and Haley/Jamie scenes. The 1st one with Haley yelling at Jamie was hilarious. The bar scene was funny, although I'm not sure how is it a good idea to let your 7 years old son to tag along in a bar, but anyway the tomato fight was so cute <3

I'm glad Nathan made it to the NBA, and it was expected that Clay would save the day like he did. Nathan going with Haley to the tour is awesome. I can't wait for some scenes of them together in the tour, and Nathan/Jamie cheering for Hales.

I don't like the fact that Quinn is going out and doing all that with Clay while she hasn't been divorced yet, but I can't help but find Clay/Quinn cute.

Loved the Nate/Dan scene too.

I loved all of Nathan's scenes tonight with everyone.
I loved the off handed comment on the "I'm gonna miss the bathrooms" and Nathan/James' cute little face.

I'm over the moon that he is back in the NBA and I'm glad that Clay apologized and admitted that he was wrong.

What's with the core three not getting screentime though? I don't know, but I hope it's made up for in the second half of the season.

just a quick note: not everyone in Spain throws tomatoes at each other, it's just a holiday that takes place in a very small village of Spain.

The episode was OK I guess.

do you think skills and mouth are gone for good?

I guess it'll have to do with his situation outside of OTH?

And I'm pretty sure Mouth will definatly be back.

I think i only liked this episode because of Naley. I loved their scenes.

At this point, i think the same mistake that has been happening since season 5 is happening again: the secondary characters are taking too much time from the core 3 (Nathan, Haley & Brooke). I mean, how many time was Brooke on this episode, 5 minutes?
I get secondary characters are important, but it's just not fair IMO.

And Mouth/Skills leaving, it depends for me. If them leaving means more screentime for the core 3, then i wouldn't mind.

But i like Skills, though.

I really loved this episode. I am SO excited that Nathan is getting into the NBA-finally! I thought it was adorable seeing those 3 get on the bus! Loved the Tomatoe War!! Now I just have to wait till Jan 18th

I liked the episode and like always I enjoy NH the most. Clay & Quinn were cute as well.
