7.08 “(I Just) Died In Your Arms”

NOT EVERYONE’S A HAPPY CAMPER — Julian (Austin Nichols) agrees to a weekend camping trip but struggles to fit in with Nathan (James Lafferty) and the guys. Back in Tree Hill, Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) spend Girl’s Night doing a little bonding of their own, and Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) helps Clay (Robert Buckley) come to terms with a tragic loss. Meanwhile, Dan (Paul Johannson)and Rachel’s (guest star Danneel Harris) past catches up to them. Lee Norris, Antwon Tanner and Jackson Brundage also star.

This was a very cute filler episode.

I loved the introduction of a new friendship with Julian and Nathan. They had differences but worked it out. I also loved the fatherly advice he gave him and the whole Jamie situation. Having Skillz back was a plus too

this episode was such a comical relief after all the drama that we have had!

Ok, why on earth Nathan and Julian don't have more scenes together is beyond me.
They were so funny, I smell a bromance and maybe a supporters thread.

So many one liners and so supportive of each other in the end!

NJ, aww adorable.
I missed them!

And even though we didn't get NH, I didn't mind tonight, maybe because we finally got BH!

great episode.

It was fun seeing the guys interacting, and Nate/Julian becoming friends. Also love the Nate/Jamie scenes. Too bad Clay didn't tag along.

the episode was ok, the only storyline I don't like is Dan's one. He should leave the show.

I enjoyed seeing B/H hanging out and being goofy.

Love the Nathan and Julian scenes.

I hope Mark gives them more scenes. Haley/Brooke and Nathan/Julian make good friendships, i enjoyed all of their scenes.

Julian was so funny and i loved Nathan's face the whole time. He looked so bored by Julian's lack of ability.

It was a good episode.

I just missed Naley, i thought they were gonna have more scenes in the beginning of the episode, before going to camp. Or at least, i was hoping they did. lol

I've seen some comments wondering why Nathan didn't like Julian in this episode. Personally I didn't sense dislike as much as irritation, because Nathan thought Julian wouldn't know what he was doing, and would cramp their style. That, and Nathan was looking forward to bonding with Jamie.

I know it was only one episode, but the way it progressed was actually quite good. First, Nathan's irritated by Julian's ineptitude. Later he's amused by it. But finally, after they actually start talking, they have more in common than they thought.

Of course it was a little predictable. The less predicatable route would have been that NOBODY expected Julian to have a clue, and he turned out to be great at it.

There was no dislike personally for me, I also thought they played well off each other.

Nathan and Julian should develop their friendship. They could take advice from each other on different issues

I liked the epsiode, although I ff all the Dan/Rachel stuff, because I really can't adjust to the idea of them together, meh!.

I was hoping for some focus on Nathan/Jamie during the camping, since it what Nathan wanted. However, I really enjoyed seeing all the boys hanging togeteher and interacting. I hope we get more Nathan/Julian scenes in the future, they share good chemistry.

Overall, I guess it was a good light hearted episode after the intense ones.

I thought the episode was rather weird, not gonna lie.

But I'm glad that now we know Nathan/Julian know who each other and became friends at the end of the day.
