Yeah, I am thinking that too.

If you think about the course of their relationship.....

In season 1/2 they started out flirting and playing games and Wade trying to get Zoe, then they ended up sleeping together, then hiding their casual relationship, and then they became public as a couple.

In season 4, they started out playing games and stuff with Zoe fighting for Wade, then they slept together, and then when they got back together they hid it, and then became public.

Even though it is nothing that is majorly the same, but there are definitely similarities in it.

I do like how it kind of paralleled to the first time they tried things. It showed how much they grew and how the outcome was different because they grew as people and grew together.

They did bring up a lot of older stuff in the final season!

yeah I liked that too. I liked that in the final season they brought up older events in that happened. It was nice.

yeah when Wade mentioned Miller Road in the series finale is a great parallel and because it happened in the pilot and it was mentioned in the series finale, it was pretty much perfect. It really showed just how much they changed. Wade especially. Sometimes it is hard to believe they were actually the same people.

Also playing the same song from the graveyard scene in the pilot in the scene from the finale was also a good call back.

Yeah, I loved that little piece. It was almost like they were showing how far she had come since Zoe moved to Bluebell. Playing the same song in both graveyard scenes in the pilot and series finale. I remember Zoe mentioning that she "might find her way" and then in the series finale Zoe said that she finally found love and a home
