Yeah, but they knew s4 would be the last on HoD....JS stepped out on the OC in s3, & they all just accepted that s4 would be the last even though the network hadn't said so, it's like they just didn't fight for it

It's not that I hated it - although I do resent the fact that it practically became the Taylor show - I just think that if the writers had fought for the show, it could have gone on longer....

That's always the impression that I got, also there's the job security, all the shows that I remember just wanted to keep going for as long as they could
 I think that on The OC though, it seemed like a lot of the cast & crew were just kinda done.... __________________

I think it happens on a lot of shows, plus I think s3 seemed like it was hard on the cast - there are rumors about Mischa being difficult & Cam Gigandet said that it wasn't a fun place to be, but I don't know how much I trust things like that

Yeah....I mean, these are just rumors, but there were a lot of them, they did kill her character off & when you look at the problems MB has had since, I think there must be something to them....
