What do you mean? Summer was the voice of reason on the show most of the time!

I feel like at times she acted like she was an airhead, so I loved that she was the one who made sense the rest of the time. I bet she preferred giving the advice then being an airhead (She wasn't one granted)

She did kinda act like an airhead, but we saw in s3 that she is actually really smart & just hadn't applied herself before.

Plus, emotional intelligence is different to test scores anyway, & I think that regardless of what people think about the reveal of her being super smart (I know that some people hated it), you can't really argue that she wasn't perceptive of what other people were going through. She always had a good sense of what was going on in RM's relationship, she knew what was going on with Kirsten at the end of s2 after barely seeing her, in fact she was pretty good with figuring out what was going on with all the adults

I agree with all of this. And I liked that she just hadn't applied herself and that she really was smart. I think that people can come across differently when they don't know what to do with themselves.

Yeah, plus I don't think anyone ever really encouraged Summer to try & see what potential she had. It wasn't until she took this test & people starting telling her all the she was capable of that she actually started exploring her options
