I think we can, I printed the amendment form so just need to fill that out and we should be okay, although it said it would take longer to process, like up to 12 weeks

And nope, I don't think I'll find out until I actually start working which I don't feel is that fair, because it's like they are forcing us to work when we don't know if we are being paid but we still have to work anyway especially the first week since it's a short week, we take the Monday off for Memorial Day, so we officially start on Tuesday the 31st, but I doubt we'll know if we are being paid until after the first week is over or we might not even know until after the program is over in July

Me too Cathy, too late now, if I knew I might not be paid I wouldn't have agreed to do it at all, I signed up because I thought I would be paid, and it's kind of not fair that highschoolers don't have to work all 6 weeks they get to chose what weeks they do but the adults we have to work all 6 weeks and might not get paid, pretty sure we have to spend our own money for supplies and cooking that we do every Friday too And I still feel like when they were planning the budget they should have worked in the people that want to be paid, like they should have expected a couple of people would want to get paid, especially if they have to work 5 days a week for 6 weeks

It's only for the 6 weeks though, not really worth it to look for another one since all the camps looking to hire already got their hiring done this year is only different because our manager for the after school program isn't involved at all if she was running it then we would be paid, but it's basically the childrens director from church running it now, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of kids signed up since they aren't really advertising it at all, like last year when the manager ran it, they had flyers and stuff in restaurants, library, at the school, and they let the parents at the after school program know about it, this year they haven't done that
