So many of my friends are telling me online learning has been a struggle. My sister is doing ok with her kids but the youngest is struggling a little.

It's hard because the school isn't overly worried as she had always been a good student.

The school board is apparently voting on a plan this week to try to get the first of the students (K-1st, special needs) into classrooms by January 25th, the rest of the students will be on a rolling basis but hopefully it gets approved because parents and the Mayor are mad that they haven’t given an official date yet just a timeline :shrug:

And then when Biden takes over they will probably have to do a national lockdown or something?

Maybe, depends on how severe the virus is, if they can get the national mask mandate in place and a vaccine is in the works, they might nit have to do a total lockdown:shrug:

Yes, I’m doing okay :) sad because we probably won’t be able to see the kids for the holidays :( Sister is too worried about COVID, so I don’t think we will be able to see the kids again until there’s a vaccine available:shrug:

I'll go to my parents for Thanksgiving but that is about it. I see them more often than others as it is.
