Our city is apparently a national leader on showing other cities how to properly slow COVID, which I can see, considering we’re such a huge city, yet our cases and deaths aren’t that high and we’re the first huge city in CA to make it to the states least restrictive tier, although I’m not getting why schools can’t open sooner when other businesses are reopening

ETA: so they want to remodel the main church building and move the after school program there, I don’t know if it will be anytime soon, since there’s so much stuff they want to remodel, I’m guessing it will be a good 1-2 years, maybe even 3 years

Nice...I am not sure about my city in general, but I still do know anyone who has had Covid.

I only found out about my city because they had an article in one of the news sites I follow

Not that much work this week, we have to do an assessment due on Thursday, peer review by Sunday and survey by Sunday

My kids have conferences Thursday/Friday so hardly any school this week.

We are heading to Great Wolf Lodge.

Normally we don’t have conferences until after Thanksgiving and they have another one in March, I don’t think any of that matters now with distance learning though

I think conferences are pointless...I keep up with my kids schoolwork as it is and reach out as needed.

I get them for when kids are in person learning but with distance learning, kind of pointless

We go Wednesday. It worked out nicely to not have to worry about class.
