Dad just yelled because the window is open, something about bad air getting in, um I checked the air quality, it’s green, that means good air, and apparently I can’t tell him that because it causes a fight, and he’s old

Sigh I wish we knew when schools could reopen, they did a piece in our local newspaper that says basically everyone wanted the school district to reopen schools including the mayor but the hold up seems to be with the unions

I wish we could reopen, our Governor won't allow it...and I guess she is getting sued.

Considering our city just made the state’s least restrictive tier for reopening, it kind of sucks that more things are reopening but schools aren’t, because they are literally expecting parents/guardians to chose between their job or quitting and staying home with the kids while they distance learn, especially since most child care is still closed where we are

TV shows can film, daycares are open but kids can't go to school??? This makes no sense.

It really doesn’t, they put up a reopening plan on the school district website but it doesn’t look like anyone will be back until January at the earliest, and even then it’s just the TK-1st graders, special needs, etc... and only at 15 school sites, this is ridiculous

I get the whole ones that need it more but why can’t you open it at all the school sites instead of 15, at the rate they are going, there’s no way they get all the kids in school by the end of the school year in June

And since most states are back to in person those that aren't are at a disadvantage overall.

Oh I totally agree like honestly what the heck have they been doing in the 7 months since schools have closed, instead of wasting time on figuring out what schools need their names changed, they could have been preparing and getting things ready for schools to be in session, kids are falling behind the longer they are doing distance learning
