sorry about being MIA, guys.

work has been crazy the past few weeks and i've only had time to post on the jake board & a few filipino threads. i'm gonna try to squeeze in posting here as much as i can.

I love being busy! Seriously, I love having alot to do. I don't like being like completely pounded but I love the challenge of projects. Because I'm doing alot of pre-production for work for the fall/winter, it's not so busy when things don't get a move on from other departments!

well, you're work is exciting compared to mine. mine is boring since i'm stuck in the office all day doing the boring thing day in and day out.

Well, my work is okay...it's my bosses that drive me nuts. I work for two different bosses in one company and am contracted out with another company. The other company, I would have preferred to be hired full time with them...I love my producer boss in that company, I really do. He's a sweetheart. But the ones I work for full time...they are not nice people.

it always sucks when you work for a boss who isn't nice and makes your life difficult.

my former supervisor irritated the hell out of me cos she has the tendency to chat me up to talk about her personal life or some other nonsense in the middle of doing my job. hello? she expects me to listen to her whine instead of working. good thing i still performed well or i'd pin my bad performance on her.

I love you girls in here - Jazz, Teena, Nad, Jersh, Sasha OMG! We're so few who stayed with him.

I'd like to post more but the closing came in as a shock to me.

And yes, we got 401 for the month of July, if any of you are wondering why we're closing down. Well, what irks me the most is that we only need about 460 or 470 posts a month to be safe. We're like what 50-70 posts short while other closing boards had like 200 post count for July.

I totally know how you feel Gay. I feel lost, I don't know what to say, especially when Viggo is going to be in a big film that might win him his Oscar.

To everyone who helped me with this board, I cannot say how much I appreciate it. You have NO idea how much your support and the support for Viggo means to me. We all tried and it hopefully we'll remember the good times here.

I'm just so shocked that I never got a PM about the low post counts like I usually do. I mean, I knew we had one or two weeks of low point counts but I just came on the board and that was it, it was closing. End of story.

It's really shocking! Yes, we knew we had low count for this month but we're moving on right? upwards.. look at our count for this week compared to the first two weeks. I was also under the impression that if a board has low post count for 3 consecutive months, then that's the time it gets close down. Seems like I was mistaken.

Yes, Eastern Promises ironically promises an Oscar while his board is about to close. What a shame for FF!

jazz, it's weird that you didn't get a PM that the board is in danger of being closed due to low post counts.

why wouldn't they do that if that's standard procedure? anyway, i'm really sorry about how things turned out. it's really a shame that this had to happen especially when viggo has new projects coming out soon.

gay, thanks for the post count. that's a great post count. it's just sad that it wasn't enough to keep the board alive.

it's been a pleasure posting here with the both of you and all the other viggo fans. i'm really gonna miss this board.
