I don't know. They've tried, but kind of half-heartedly. I did like the Hiro/Charlie one, but that was too short. All the others didn't work for me. I sort of liked Peter with Caitlyn, but that was doomed.

They should be able to. I really enjoyed the romatic involvement, albeit brief, in season two (Volume II) with Peter and this Irish girl. Shortlived, but beautiful! They should be able to pull it off, providing the appropriate character obtains the romantic story line. Say, I wouldn't be interested in Syler persuing romance of some sort.

It all depends how its written. Heroes has a history of not writing romances very well though. The Hiro/Charlie romance worked because it became something very special and we learned something about Hiro and his power through it, but TPTB haven't captured anything like that in a romance since. Whatever they do, I just hope it has a genuine purpose for character depth and integrated well, not just for the sake of having a romance on the show.

I enjoyed it/them (she reminded me a bit of Alexis for some reason), but it ended up being more about plot, so it became sort of empty. They didn't even allow Peter to really grieve over what happened to her.

She did look like AB a little, I wonder if Milo noticed. Yes, the ending of their romance left much to be desired. Poor Peter and poor Caitlyn.

Okay which guy do you think it will be?? I kinda want it to be Peter, it would be nice for him to have someone to talk to in all the mess that his family will be in next season.

Here's some spoilers on Hereos guys it also involves Peter spoilers too..

We’re all very excited about the next volume of Heroes(volume 5) called “REDEMPTION.” All of our characters, in way or another, return to their normal lives after the turmoil and tragedy of “FUGITIVES.”

One of the big issues we’ll be exploring is how should a person with abilities live his or her life. Should they try to assimilate by hiding their abilities, or should they live more honestly, exposing their powers to the world?

Claire will be at the forefront of that issue, starting college in Washington, D.C., and trying to discover, as all college kids do, who she really is. But re-adjusting to normal life won’t be easy, especially when Claire is caught in the crossfire of her parent’s divorce and a mysterious suicide on campus.

Meanwhile, Peter and Nathan are trying to get their lives back on track. Peter is trying to be a hero in the purest sense — saving on life at a time. But that means cutting himself off from friends and family. It’s only when Peter makes a romantic connection with a fascinating new “powerful” woman that he’ll find out that life means staying connected to others. Nathan is discovering new things about himself everyday, mostly due to the fact that he’s actually Sylar.

Matt will have to live with the guilt of what he did to Sylar; making his attempts to live a normal life with his wife and child virtually impossible.

Noah Bennet (HRG), with the help of Tracy Strauss, Angela Petrelli and all of our Heroes, is tasked with forming a new COMPANY. I have to say Peters storyline sounds the most intresting I just hope he gets the more screen time this Volume. Since he actually has a storyline this time hopefully that means he will. Sounds like Peter does get a love intrest this time, she has an ability which is cool, is she the def girl who knows. I'd love it to be cuz than it'd make the romance more complex. I can't wait for Peters storyline, no offense to Claire fans but her sounds the most boring if I wanted to see a girl live college life I'd just watch those silly ABC Family shows LOL.
I'm guessing this is the first half and than second half will be about them discovering about Nylar. I think since Tracey will be working with the companey and possibly Nathan that she will be the first one to discover Nylar, than maybe tell Peter.

Very excited for this volume now, well lets hope they don't screw up. I hope they do give Peter more screen time, maybe since they are bringing a character just for Peter they will seeing him have a love interest again will be interesting.

Agree about Claire's storyline it sounds like she'll have her own thing going on which I think they messed up on last season with giving Sylar his own storyline.

i'll update the first post by the end of the week, again just a reminder that only spoilers relating to Peter will be in the opening post.

Your welcome, yah Claire having her own storyline isn't good. People can't stand her, so to have to her in her own little storyline really doesn't help things LOL. Yah him having a love inrest again should be fun, I just hope they don't get rid of her, if she has an ability and is blind that can make things more fun here. Now finally hearing Peters storyline, yah its made me more excited for the Volume, he wasn't included in last Volumes storyline which was sad, so I think since he's got a storyline now hey'll be more screen time.

Peter better have more screen time, or I might stop watching! J/K. His story sounds interesting and I do think the deaf girl is his love interest. I'm most interested in when he finds out about Nathan, though. I expect them to keep with the idea of showcasing only a few cast members per episode, so that each character gets more depth.

I hope Peter finds out next. I think Tracey will be the one to find out first since shey'll be working with him and the companey. I'm assuming hey'll be the next one, maybe she tells him, I mean she does know him and knows the brother relationship they have. But LOLz I'd prob stop watching if he didn't get much screen time soon, it'd suck yes.

So Peter's new love interest is the deaf woman. The actress that they cast is really hearing impaired and is several years older than Milo. How do you think that will play out? I'm a little concerned.

I don't know I thought they would get someone a bit younger, I mean Peter is late 20's right? In season one didn't they say he was like 26?

If they do it right and have it be like a believable meeting and have the relationship be more about getting to know each other and be there for each other then being based on powers it could work, but really with Heroes you never know what writers will do.
