This is interesting. Kristen Bell is joining Heroes. From comingsoon:

NBC is adding former "Veronica Mars" star Kristen Bell to the cast of "Heroes." The network has hired Bell for a key multiepisode arc of the second season.

Bell will make her first "Heroes" appearance in October. She'll play Elle, a character described as a sexy, mysterious young lady who has ties to the supposed death of Peter, H.R.G.'s past and the future of Claire. Elle will kick off her arc by committing a serious crime, though it's unclear whether she's good or bad.

"This was not easy to pull off," said "Heroes" creator-executive producer Tim Kring. "But since we're an ensemble show, with many arcs playing out through the year, we found a way to jump into a small window in (Bell's) schedule."

Universal Media Studios prexy Katherine Pope also hinted that landing Bell wasn't easy, noting that "many studios (were) chasing her in both film and TV" and that she was happy that Bell "chose to star in our show."

Ooo, very cool. I look forward to seeing where that goes. I was never into Veronica Mars myself, but I'm eager to know more about any of the new characters we're going to see.

Via a LiveJournal friend, I have become aware of a preview that was shown that featured Peter! And I have a screen cap!

Let's assess the situation, shall we? Handcuffs. Naked. Freaked out by his own hand. (*fangirl SQUEE!*) I think it's safe to say that wherever he is, he is not happy. Nor does he understand what is going on. Amnesiac anyone?

Thanks Jade. His other hand and arm look pretty messed up so perhaps he's just re-discovering his regeneration powers. I agree with you, it is looking more and more like he is the one who is an amnesiac.

Okay so first I love that Kristin Bell will be in a few eps, I loved her on Veronica Mars and she's a wonderful actress, so i hope she'll get some screen time with Peter.

Kristin Bell's joining the cast has made big news...i went to her board and they had over 20 articles about her joining....she turned down Lost but said yes to Heroes

Anything you can tell me about your character Elle that wasn't in the press release? (We know that Elle has ties to the supposed death of Peter, H.R.G.'s past and Claire's future.)
Bell: I know a a lot. I think I know everything. But I think the only things that are allowed to be [out there] are what was in the press release. It's going to be a really, really fun character -- that much I can tell you.

There's buzz that you might be the show's new baddie since Zachary will be taking off to do Star Trek.
Bell: That is a possibility. It's going to be fun for me to see where she goes. I kind of hope so. It would be really nice to play the bad guy.

Do you have a power?
Bell: Yeah, I do. I have a really awesome power.

I love how she talked about they called her even before the deal was done and how great they were to her during that process...i love how you always hear great things about everyone involved with the show

I've been so out of the loop lately that I've missed this incredible news! Kristen Bell on Heroes?

Possibly involved in Peter's alleged death?

Possibly having scenes with the Milo?

If that's true... I think they're going to ooze chemistry on screen together. Whoa.
