I didn't like anything of Peter in season 3 except his scenes with Claire. Everything else was just a betrayal of his character.

Yeah, Peter losing his powers like that was just an excuse for the writers to power him down and simplify his ability by having him inject himself with that formula that made him only able to absorb one power at a time. But they didn't power down Sylar, did they?

honestly I was never a Sylar fan
I think he makes a good villain sometimes but other than that I feel like the writers care about him too much |

I think that season 1 should've ended with Five Years Gone type of ending. At least, in that case, there should've been some kind of a conclusion. Also, you never overpower you villain and then try to redeem him, plus outpower your hero and making him a secondary type of a character. Peter's role was to lead the others!
