Oh, I remember Clifford!
Wait, was Barney on PBS? That was on in the early 1990s and I was in my early 20s then. I wasn't a fan of Barney. I think that show coddled kids a bit too much. It wasn't like Sesame Street, but I suppose some people liked it. __________________

I do sometime watch dramas on PBS and my mom loves some cooking show that I might watch with her. Doctor who I didn't watch a few seasons until a few years ago. Up until Billy piper left although I do want to ppl pick up again just life got in the way lol |

Yeah, I was way too old for Teletubbies.
Wow, I was really surprised then BBC brought back Doctor Who. I was a huge Doctor Who fan when I was a kid and a teenager, but I only ever watched the Tom Baker seasons as the Fourth Doctor. I tried the ones with the Fifth Doctor Peter Davison but they didn't hold my interest, and he was only there for two years and then he left. I pretty much gave up on the show after that, and I was convinced that Doctor Who was over and done with when the BBC cancelled it in 1989. I couldn't believe they were bringing it back in 2005. __________________

Yes, I know. You weren't even born when Tom Baker was the Fourth Doctor.

I love both nine and ten. However those are the ones I have seen lol. I did like Matt smith on the Crown so I might like his doctor
I have heard Doctor has been a decline with Jodi and that they rewritten some history |

I loved watching the Doctor, but what they've done with the whole bending the gender in my opinion was a mistake. I mean, I hate all that political correctness. Ten was not per se my first Doctor. It was Nine actually and he made me fall in love with the seies, but Ten just stole my heart. To me, David Tennant not just acted as the Doctor. He was the Doctor!

Well, Nine didn't stick around long enough for me, Maria.
I actually loved Ten and Eleven because I thought David Tennant and Matt Smith did the best job following in Tom Baker's footsteps, which is why I felt that Doctor Who went into decline in the 1980s. Tom Baker was a near impossible act to follow having been The Doctor longer than anyone and having defined the character more than any other actor who played the role. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Tennant able to match Baker's whimsical and comical persona while also making the character his own. And then Matt Smith came along and did the same thing following in Tennant's footsteps. I was amazed that we had two back-to-back Doctors who were easily worthy of Tom Baker's legacy. I especially loved it when Ten and Eleven teamed up and Eleven and Four met at the end of the 50th anniversary episode in the museum. Tennant and Smith, and Smith and Baker were just amazing together. I agree, I think that the female Doctor with Jodi is just a lot of virtue signaling and being politically correct rather than just focusing on storytelling. Also, having the Doctor regenerate into a woman completely contradicts the earlier canon of Doctor Who which established the existence of Time Ladies, like Romanadvoratrelundar, or Romana. If Time Ladies coexist with Time Lords, why would the Doctor regenerate into a woman? __________________
