That was real cute. I loved that movie. The way it ended was great but would have been better if something with Lucy would have been done. I hope you know what I mean because I don't want to give away the ending. It was real good movie. Those who haven't seen it yet, needs to go see it. Like, right now.

Sorry for the double posting but I don't really see the big hype about LOTR. I mean, I thought the books were boring and especially the movie. For some reason, I couldn't find it interesting. Whats with all the hype? its probably all the special effects they used and I heard their soundtrack was good or something.

Anyway, who else won tonight at the Oscars? I heard finding Nemo won. They definetly deserved an Oscar. That was a good movie.

Well, that was the most predictable Oscar ever, not that was expecting otherwise but still. The good thing is that I got so bored that I turned into a crazy cleaning lady and organized and cleaned a lot of papers. It was long overdue so yay for the most productive Oscars of my life .

That was I was thinking too, he could play a resident. I mean how old was Noah Wyle when he started the show? Or the guys of Scrubs as meds students?. Anyway Kel mentioned a doctor and I went with it because I think it's a good idea. But mostly I just think we all want to see him play his age because that's important for him and his career. So luckily for now a dad will have to do

ETA: Rooney Babe I think LoTR may have won the eleven categories it was nominated for. I'll look it up for you in case I'm wrong, but I didn't see it lose anything. Acting categories, again all the predicted ones: Tim Robbins, Renee, Charlize, and Sean Penn who has the only one who didn't have a lock on it since Murray or Depp were strong too. Finding Nemo you're right won, and it was a surprise 'cause critics were expecting the brother of Walt Disney to win. Foreign film was for Canada.

I thought the Oscars were ok. I wish Bill Murray won, I really like him and who knows when he'll be nominated again. I'm also glad Charlize won, by the looks of the promo for 'Monster', she really deserved it.

[Rant]Ugh! Okay I'm so glad that we Lits decided to wait and get an exceptional name for our thread. It is so annoying when I see threads with two names stuck together to form one. For example, lately I've been really interested with Nathan/Haley from OTH. Now the fact that they're called 'Naley' just makes me sick. That's probably the reason why I don't post there. Why pick something so unoriginal? When I like a couple I want to make sure that they get the best possible name to represent what their relationship is all about. So, why doesn't everyone feel that way? [/Rant]

Weekend!

Hi lissie Nice to see ya!

You're right, get together two names is so unoriginal. Also, it's fun to debate and vote and listen to the different sides etc as we did. I don't see a reason not to have fun with it. No one rushes you (unless they're about to cancel the show )

To be honest when I absolutely hate it is when it's used to talk about real people. Which now is very often since that awful trend started when a 'luminary' came up with 'Bennifer' Ugh.

Haley and Nathan are adorable. The best part about OTH, IMO. For some reason I can't quite get into the show, too Dawson for my taste, but they make it up for it. Well, almost . But it's the only reason I bother to watch, that I'll say.

Hey Clau!

Yeah, I've only started watching the show about a month ago. When it first aired, I wasn't really that into it, but my new found love for James Lafferty changed all that. I pretty much just watch the show for the Nathan/Haley stuff though. Lucas, who I originally thought was an ok character, gets on my nerves now.

Oh and yeah the rant also is towards 'Setham'.::shutters::

Yeah, I have to admit- I've always really liked the 'Dodger' and 'Lit' titles we have for ourselves. They're a lot better and more creative than most of the other character titles out there.

I hope ABC picks up Rob Estes' pilot as well- I'd really enjoy seeing Rob again on a weekly basis

Hmm... Rob Estes!

Claudia I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like that with OTH. Not even CMM, who I enjoy a lot, is making me like that show. I missed last episode and I couldn't have cared less.
Whereas, The O.C. might be considered trivial/90210'ish, but IMHO well done or at least intriguing.

Oscars related: When 'Lords of the Rings' won in 11 categories I was so excited! So it was a bit excesive, but it made it even for leaving LotR 2 out. I was mad though, that they didn't nominate Ian McKellen. (?sp)

Kelly? Thoughts on Alias tonight? Or anyone else, of course.

I hate this Sark/Lauren thing so much. I hate that Sark seems so smitten with her because it's completely OOC for him. I hope to the deities that he's playing her for some reason.

I heart Marshall. Seriously. He's the coolest geeky-tech daddy EVAH.

Melissa George is drop-dead gorgeous, but IMO, not a good actress. She looked great in that wig, though.

And - bwah! - how was that for product placement?

Overall, an okay ep, but I'm looking forward to this season really picking up steam.

[Off-topic-er]Oh, and - OTH is definitely not as good as I was hoping it would be. I like CMM, but the show is so melodramatic, whereas The O.C. pokes fun of itself.[/Off-topic-er]

Kat, look what it says under your icon!!! I'm so proud!

I saw a bit of Alias. I was flipping back and forth between that and L&O:CI. The house they filmed it in is a friend of a friend's (I was in it a few months ago). My Canadian friend with ahead-of-schedule satellite viewing spoiled it for me though (of Alias).

Heh, Marissa, I love you.

I was spoiled for the Sark/Lauren, ahem, consummation (spelling? Ah, who cares), but it was even more painful than I originally thought. Everyone knows that you're supposed to worship Sark, not act all cold and fakely British. *shakes head*

And that's cool about your friend's house! I wish I lived somewhere a bit more exciting.

You know, I feel like I should offer some sort of disclaimer about myself or something. Because I really don't think I'm this looney in real life. I'm always saying things that it seems only cartoon characters or claymation or something should be saying.
I just mean: "I'm weird, but I'm not that weird."

Yeah, my friend told me the whole thing. But I had to tell her were most of the characters were (and me telling her that: That's saying something! I know like nothing).

It's funny: They offered them $10,000 to shoot at their house for a week. They put them up in the Waldorf, and redecorated.

...I don't live anywhere interesting. My town's biggest claim to fame was a mention on national television this week (I can't tell you what show though, or you might come and stalk me. ).

Yes, we all know my stalker tendencies.

See, my town is mentioned only along with the words "snow," "bitterly cold," and "hicks."

Ouch, yeah.

Hey, if someone wants to come and film at my house - that's fine. Just an offer, you know, if you're looking (*cough*ABC*cough*). And if Milo/David Anders were to come, that would be all right, too.

Kat, I'll tell you later if you want. You probably watched it. It was last night. And they got it kinda wrong too, so it was funny. Well, not wrong, really. I mean, I wouldn't've picked this town. I would've picked a neighboring town. But it still holds true.

They actually film a lot of stuff in my town because it's this like quintessential New England town look.

I hate all those people who got to stalk Milo on the Santa Monica boardwalk last year. They'd probably still be doing it too, if the WB had picked it up.

Speaking of Alias...

I was so happy that they brought up Vaughn's father's watch. Continuity is a wonderful thing...
