Yes, that's beacuse the sun could really come out at anytime...i mean this past winter it was like 50 degress and well for us that's freezing but the sun was still out and bright.

Kelly, thanks so much for the scans. It is great to see him in charge and I second someone's comment about him wearing a suit. It is so refreshing to see someone of his generation, in the entertainment business, dressing so professionally.

And yes Alexia, I agree we always need our sunglasses in California.

Aw that article an photo cap looks great. Look at him professional as always, in the suit and all.

That's so sweet how he walked his cast though his vision. I bet he would be a great director to work with and would be very understanding to his cast and crew.

I can't wait for Aug 2nd to see his work!

Heroes Star Spends His Summer Working at American Eagle
Saturday June 16, 2007

Milo Ventimiglia may have super powers on screen, but his real strength lies in his skills behind the camera.

The 29-year-old NBC star is currently directing and producing a 12-episode series for American Eagle called "It's a Mall World" due to hit MTV this August.

"I guess I as an actor registered with their demo," jokes Ventimiglia, who also heads up Divide Pictures, his own film and television production company. "When [American Eagle] first presented this to me to direct, I said 'Well can I bring my company in? Can I make this a bigger project? Believe it or not, I actually conceptualize."

The multi-tasking actor/director brought together a large cast and crew to explore the relationships between a group of teens working at a local mall -- being a former mallrat himself, the Heroes star admits the concept wasn't a real stretch.

"Yeah, so [I used to go] to the Mall of Orange and that got a little too rundown," he admits. "But as you got older, all the hot little girls that grew up in Newport went to South Coast Plaza and so you have to go to South Coast Plaza or Fashion Island."

Ventimiglia may have a passion for directing (and possibly his local Food Court), but his heart still belongs to Peter Petrelli and his super friends.

"I'm happy showing up to Heroes and just being an actor," he insists. I enjoy the process [of directing], but I don’t want to force it. I don’t want to start saying 'put the camera here' just yet. "

Thanks for the article, Kelly! I love that even in something like this, he has a clear vision of what he wants to accomplish. He's just such a cool guy. I really can't wait to see how these turn out!

I own a production company with my best friend. Dino was the first person we told about the idea of starting a company and he was really supportive of our endeavor and ideas.

Day-to-day I read a lot and talk on the phone. Dino runs the DSC portion of the company and also develops projects for Divide Pictures. The "other" guy talks on the phone and is strapped to a harness on most days. He also creates all of the designs for the DSC.

We eventually hope to extend the Divide brand into an aviation company.

Will "It's a Mall World" be shown in the UK?

I'm not really sure, you either are a member or you are not a member. The choice is yours. Just remember to stick up for your friends and say what you mean and do what you say.

What exactly is the Divide Social Club?

The DSC is an idea that my friend came up with. We really like the social club environment of the 50's and 60's and I think we all wanted to continue the tradition.

The idea stemmed from the family of my "friend" and Dino's amazing family.

One day my friend came home with a shirt that said DIVIDE SOCIAL CLUB and it all kind of began...

The shirt had a front pocket - I told him I hate front pockets. He smoked and wanted a place to put his cigarettes.

The DSC is a group of friends that look out for one another.

Do you have any clue as to when Generations will start airing?

thanks for the info Kelly...i am really looking forward to seeing these...and i wonder by the way he's dress if he has a cameo in one of the eps???

He also looks so young dress like that....which is funny cause yesterday i was mistaken for being 14 when i am 19 and only based on looks....which kinda upset me...i guess i sorta know how he feels now.
