Maria Menounos Teams With Nike For 'Let Me Play' Program

Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos is teaming up with Nike and her celebrity friends to help give kids a place to play.

Maria and her charity, Take Action Hollywood!, have partnered with Nike’s “Let Me Play” program, a national program launched in July by Nike that builds and restores playgrounds across the country.

On September 15, Maria, Billy Bush and Shaun Robinson will hit the streets of Los Angeles for Nike’s Run Hit Remix to raise funds to help the “Let Me Play” program combat the nation’s growing childhood obesity problem.

Also joining Maria’s team are celebs like Carson Daly, Serena Williams and “Heroes” star Milo Ventimiglia.

As race day draws near, Maria is also asking the public for their help. Fellow runners can donate their miles through NikePlus.com to help Maria’s team and Nike reach their goal of running 84,000 miles by September 15.

On the same note: Milo is featured in this week's People Magazine (with Owen Wilson on the cover). You can find a small article about him on page 67. There is a small picture (looks like it was taken at the AE premiere) and the article basically says that he left a group of friends that he was with at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills to have his picture taken with a group of fans.

I guess it was only a matter of time before all that not hating each other sparked dating rumors somewhere in the world. Oh well.

I usually don't comment on Milo's personal life, but this "situation" of Milo and Hayden being more than friends is getting out of hand. He is a thirty year old man and she, though a very beautiful one, is a barely 18 year old girl. I get the impression that he is just acting as a protector of her while they are on this trip. I also highly doubt that either one of them would carry on a public dalliance while she is dating someone else. From what I've seen or heard about him, that is not something he would do. I wish that those who love the two of them together would just respect their privacy and not look for something that just may not be there. Why can't two co-workers just be friends, close friends who care about each other, and not be romantically involved?

THANK YOU! I was seriously beginning to think I was the insane one. I don't ship real life celebrities, and what you said above is the very reason. I don't really know them (you can read and watch all the interviews you want, but it's not the same as spending time with someone), and it's an invasion of privacy. It's fun to joke about, but I don't take any rumors like that seriously. I'm just so glad to know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Thank you both Shanti and Jade for saying that i agree with you, i've seen videos and pics and they way she around milo looks to be the same way she is with Adrian and Jack too....I agree it looks like he's the older brother protecting her and she's dating someone else and i hate that people say they could be dating becuase it could give some people the wrong impression about him.

I'm not going to lie, I stop by regularly on the Halo thread on Heroes forum,but that's mainly because they have a lot of really good pictures and videos of the two of them, and I'm a fan of both actors. I didn't ask to be "added to the list" because I don't like to ship real couples, but I don't think that they're doing any harm. I think a lot of the reason that people like them is because a lot of people ship Paire (which to me is as much if not way more disturbing than shipping Halo) but it's never going to happen. For instance, when Milo and Alexis were going out everyone loved them because of Rory and Jess, which according to Milo was "never gonna happen." And I know she is younger than him significantly and she's supposedly dating someone else, but 1. they could have broken up and we wouldn't know it and 2. she is 18 and she has lived a lot of life in those 18 years compared to most so it's not like she's immature. Even Stephen is older than her. Now I'm not one for speculation and I don't care if they are or aren't dating, but quite honestly if I saw two friends at a party acting the way they do, I wouldn't be shocked if there was something going on. but who cares, they seem to be happy with their relationship, whatever status it is in, and that's what matters most
