I've watched it a couple of times, its about a family of cops the grandfather is a retired cop, the father is the police chief of N.Y, one son is a detective, another a rookie cop who became a cop after his other brother died on the job and the only daughter is a D.A. The couple of episodes that I have seen have been really good very well written and interesting story lines.

Is it just me or there is a tone in Will Estes' voice that resembles Milo's. When I was watching Blue Bloods I thought I heard Milo's voice for a split second.

btw, how did they became friends? Was that because they both starred in American Dreams?

I'm sure they got to be friends when they were on AD together, but they actually met when Milo did a guest spot on a short-lived show that Will co-starred in called Kelly, Kelly. It starred Shelley Long and Robert (can't think of his last name, he was the star of the movie, Airplane.) Her first name was Kelly and she married a man with 3 children who's last name was Kelly. Milo played a friend of the son (Will Estes) who showed interest in Will's younger sister as a favor to him and in exchange for tickets to a concert. Of course the plan backfired. I think the show lasted for only a couple of episodes.
