ive actually been having trouble finding some good Lit fic that i can really get into. maybe im just picky. also im kinda surprised since there was so much UST between them that theres not that many R/NC17 fics.

Well I'm almost finished a Milo fic entitled Oblivious to the Obvious and it has some NC-17 chapters, it's not finished yet but i'm up to 10 chapters. If you join my Yahoo Group, the link is in the first post, then I will post it for reviews.

I should also add, that I don't write fics based on any of Milo's characters, I write based on what he might be like in real life. Places and peoples names might not make sense, but it's non-fiction, so they don't have to be real, but I try to make his character real.

Also, I tend to write mostly romance style, soap operaish stories. But I'm also looking for suggestions on story ideas so please feel free to PM me with ideas or just post on the board here!

You write fics about Milo as a person? No offence, but that strikes me as being kinda creepy. Especially if its NC17? I donno, thats just....uncomfortable. I don't understand that. His charcters are one thing, but he's a real guy. Sorry, but thats really....I donno. But its just not right to me.

How is that creepy? I use his name not a character name that's the difference. Aspects of his life are in the stories. It's the same as other people writing fan fiction about a musician they don't write about a character they write based on what they know about that person.

For example, there are a lot of Fan Ficiton websites for Backstreet Boys or Nsync* etc. They are not characters they are real people and there's nothing wrong with writing Fan Fiction about them.

There are a lot of different types of Fan Fiction writers, and I ask that you please respect the fact that I don't write about his characters. You like to write Gilmore Girls Fan fic, I've read a few, and they're very good by the way, but i'm sorry to say I find it insulting that you said that.
It is not creepy. I'm also 23 I know the difference between fantasy and reality. It's just a story. And that's where it ends...

I also think stories about Backstreet Boys and Nsync are creepy. Writing about real people and their lives when you don't know them is just odd to me. With fiction, these people don't exist. The actors and musicions do. Aren't these people entitled to their privacy? I'm not saying that you don't know the difference between fantisy and reality, I'm just saying that it just strikes me as crossing some sort of line. Their charcters are one thing. They put them out there. But them as people? I just feel like thats crossing a line somehow.

And I don't mean to insult. Ask around, I'm not a mean person. I'm just honest. We have a great deal of respect for Milo on this board and some of us are very protective of him.

I'm of the opinion that fanfiction about real life people is... a bit creepy. Granted I'm not a person of interest about which these stories would be written, but the idea of fanfiction is writing stories about a "fandom". To write a story about Milo, for example, you'd be making up "episodes" of his life, following his day, etc. While most of us here on the board know Milo only through articles/interviews and his work as an actor, I don't see how any of us are in the position to write with his voice. You'd be trying to capture his "character", how'd he react to situations, what his thoughts would be. This is something I feel no one would know without knowing Milo intimately. And writing something like NC-17 fics, especially about Milo who is so private about his personal life that he (or she) has yet to announce he's actually dating Alexis, is, in my opnion, invading on his privacy.
It's one thing to be introduced to a fictional character through television; Their actions are a matter of opinion. But to speculate on how a real person would react....
In fact, Fanfiction.net removed the Music Group section, I believe because of complaints from the people themselves.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions on the matter. But like I said before, it's still insulting to hear some one say that 'it's creepy'. When writing, I don't presume to know Milo or anyting about him. I create a fictional character. If I called him Jess Mariano or Chris Pierce, would that be any different?

It's still a character. I could say the same thing about writing a Fan Fic about one of his characters, presuming to know them. I wasn't going to say this, but it is just an opinion. Some don't agree with writing fiction using his name , or aspects of his life, that's fine but that's what I do. But to write based on a character he's played, to me, is like stealing someone else's idea. And I don't agree with that. But that's what some like to do and they are entitled to it.

There are different types of Fan Fiction writers, and you don't have to agree with it or like it, but please respect it. It's incredibly insulting to me that people keep saying it's creepy. It's not creepy. I created a character based on his name.

He's still a character in a story, but I make it original I don't like the thought of taking someone else's creation and using it over. So I use his name, some facts about him. How else do you create a character?

When I write a fic about Milo, he's not an actor all the time. He could be a gardener at a country club and he meets a girl or something. Just his name is real. I don't know that everyone understands that.

I'd like to hear you're opinions on the matter. And I know that 'not everyone's going to like what we're("I'm") doing Meg' (Chris Pierce - AD "Peace Sign on School" Episode). But it's just for fun. As for the NC-17 part of it. It's just sex. It's not like i'm saying, this is how Milo has sex in real life. It's a character in a story. Something I've created.

I've never been to FanFiction.net. And it's not something I'm interested in. Yahoo! Groups has been the only way i've ever read fan fiction.

And just because it's not on Fan Fiction. net, doesn't mean that it's not out there.

Hi everyone

I understand everyones views here. I know that Char or anyone else that writes this type of fiction does not mean to be intentionally hurtful towards Milo in any way and that it's meant to be seen as just fiction but, as Jewls stated, a lot of the regulars here are very protective of Milo and his privacy and it's understandable that many will be uncomfortable reading a fan fic based on him as a person. There is nothing against Fan Forum rules though where one can't link to these types of Fan Fic, so it has to be allowed. I do want to point out though that linking to any type of NC-17 fan fiction is not allowed because we are a PG-13 website. Please keep that in mind when linking any fiction here.
