they're definitely the couple on the show with the most what ifs/what could've beens

A lot of good points, I agree that they brought out the best in each other and really pushed each other career wise. I don't think any of Rory boyfriends pushed her career wise. I always say they couldn't have had Rory and Jess together in the revival because if they wanted Rory to be messed up it made no sense to have her with Jess since he always fixed her life.

I just think that Rory's other boyfriends on that show were uninteresting, that's all. The show was mostly about Rory, Lorelai, and Luke, but Jess was the only other character who could really hold his own with them.
