It was still the WB at that point, and I think they did make mistake, but then I don't know what they would have done character, if they would have had him been able grow in Stars Hollow.

What I liked best about Jess and Luke is that they were kinda their own characters apart from the GG in a way. They were really great together and I wish they had been their own show.

Yeah, it was WB at that point, and I think it was a mistake for them to do a spinoff show. They should've kept Jess in Stars Hollow because, like you said, there's not much to do with his character outside of that town, where he's a fish out of water. But then, me might have not gotten Peter Petrelli.

I think there are both pros and cons to him staying but him leaving was the main catalyst for his character growth/arc

I think Alexa actually said she doesn’t know if he could have the same amount of character growth if he had stayed in Stars Hollow Alex
