Episode 3.19: 'Shades of Gray'

Episode description: SYLAR GOES BACK TO HIS ROOTS – JOHN GLOVER GUEST STARS AS SYLAR’S BIOLOGICAL FATHER – When Sylar (Zachary Quinto) comes face-to-face with his long lost father (guest star John Glover), the reunion proves to be what he least expected. Elsewhere, after receiving a tip from “Rebel,” Claire (Hayden Panettiere) must decide if she will help her sworn enemy, Eric Doyle (guest star David Lawrence XVII), evade capture. Meanwhile, as “The Hunter” (guest star Zeljko Ivanek) plans to uncover the Petrelli family's secrets and take control of Nathan's (Adrian Pasdar) operation, Matt (Greg Grunberg) finds himself in the spotlight and on the verge of leveling Capitol Hill. Jack Coleman, Ali Larter, James Kyson Lee, Masi Oka and Cristine Rose also star. Randall Bentley and Ashley Crow also guest star.

i wish milo was on the esp tonight tonight eps does look good and the slyar parts look like it goign to be interseting

There won't be a new episode next week, will be on a week break than Cold Snap will air the Monday after next. Milo will be in that one though. Yah out of all the plots Sylars plot looks to be the most intresting, than it should end Sylars little subplot search for his past thing. I am betting he kills his father and Luke tonight but hey who knows.

It was a decent episode, though not as good without Peter. I don't know what Sylar got from his meeting with his father. Killing the rabbit was just gross. Maybe I'll have to watch it again to figure that out.

Claire saving Doyle...what did that mean? Is she just looking out for her kind. I liked Nathan saving her.

Anyone know why Heroes isn't on next week?

Maybe they want to extend when the finale episode airs by another week. According to NBC's schedule, they're airing A CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER (the first episode of this volume) again next Monday.

An okay episode, I was surprised at how fast the dealt with the bomb situation I thought the whole episode was going to be them trying to defuse it.

Next new episode looks good.

does anyone know where i can find the promo for the next air esp i dodnt have time to watch last night esp but heard it was ok i really wish milo was in the esp

Well, its definately not the same without Peter. The episode, for me, felt mostly like filler. I wasn't interested in anything going on with Claire (and I can't buy into the fact Doyle has any human morality at all now after what we saw of him before. It was like he got the Sylar retcon virus), and the only thing that made the Sylar/father scenes interesting were the performances, otherwise nothing really memorable. I agree that the bunny kill was disturbing to see, and I wish they hadn't gone there with an animal.

I did love the Angela/Danko scene. Cristine must have loved playing that scene out as it was just as much fun to watch her perform it. The best parts were anything to do with the Petrelli's.

The ratings are in and it was another series low. Dancing with the Stars had the most-watched premiere ratings in the show's history so that factored into it:

I really think NBC will have to do something with it next season. Maybe move it to another night, or atleast give it a much better lead in. Heroes did so much better when Deal or no Deal was its lead in during season one. Plus they need to promote it more. When was the last time a cast member was on the Jay Leno show?

Bryan Fuller came back starting with this upcoming episode so I'm excited to see whats done with it.
