Episode 3.17: 'Cold Wars'

Episode description: HEAD GAMES ENSUE AS MATT EXTRACTS THE TRUTH FROM HRG -- EMMY AWARD WINNER ZELJKO IVANEK AND BREA GRANT GUEST-STAR -- While being held hostage, HRG (Jack Coleman) is subjected to Matt Parkman’s (Greg Grunberg) unique brand of interrogation, revealing how he became involved with Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar) government plot to capture those with abilities. Meanwhile, Matt’s discoveries bring Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) face-to-face with “The Hunter” (guest star Zeljko Ivanek). Sendhil Ramamurthy and Cristine Rose also star. Ashley Crow also guest stars.

*Sqee* I can't wait for this episode. I wonder how Peter will survive the Hunter, its going to be so cool. I've been counting down to it.

I have a feeling that Peter's powers will manifest when he meets the hunter. I'm excited.

You think so two? I have that exact same feeling. Some thing could happen with his powers, like maybe he will discover he has all the powers he absorbed still such as ice/strength/flight. That'd be alright by me. I wish it was time for the episode already blah I have a hard time waiting LOLz.

Where are all the Milo fans? Peter freakin rocked tonights episode. He kicked ass, he even saved Matt for crying out loud. My favorite scenes had to be when Peter dropped onto the car Noah was driving and his scene between Nathan/Hunter and him it rocked.

I loved the episode! I loved the internal conflict that Mohinder had and the fight between he and Matt. I loved all of Milo's scenes and I agree that when he landed on HRG"S car it was fantastic. I saw our heroes being heroic. Peter saving Matt, Mohinder hoping to divert the attention of the commandoes in order for Matt to find out where Daphne was, and even finally realizing that Nathan doesn't want any of the specials to die. He is definitely wrong for wanting them in concentration camps, but he doesn't want them dead. I love the fact that Danko has a secret and cannot wait to find out what it is. I really loved the Noah/Angela scenes. Heroes is back!

Heroes was really good last night! Really loved what they are doing with Peters character! I love how much he has grown since season one but still is the dreamer at heart.

One of the best episodes of the season. Peter's scenes were great, no one can call him stupid after he got himself out of every situation last night. The landing on the car scene was great. The scene between the hunter/Peter and Nathan was really well done.

It reminded me of the company man with having really only one storyline going on. It worked well all of the characters angry and on edge last night.

I agree, Peter was written great. Everything he did made sense. And I really enjoyed seeing Angela and HRG interact.

What did everyone think of the ending, with Matt's painting of Washington blowing up mirroring Isaac's painting of New York blowing up from season one?

It's sad to see it fall even more. It was so much better than anything in season 2 or the last volume.

It is a shame that the show cannot bring back some of the fans it lost last year. I'm thinking that because the first part of this season was also critically panned, that it has lost those viewers for good. Too bad for them. I really get ticked at the nitpicking that some "fans" do on other message boards. Why bother to criticize a show week after week. Just stop watching. I guess it makes them feel powerful to think that their posts keep new fans from coming on board.

It looked like Matt just painted the Washington DC skyline over Isaac's original explosion painting. That was Matt with dynamite strapped to his chest in the painting he drew, correct? I guess that is why Peter told him not to worry because Matt is not a killer. I don't know if I like the whole exploding city retread, but we'll see if it comes to pass.

Yah know what? Fans all over are saying this was the best Peter they've seen so YAY. Yah Peters really turning out to be good this Volume, I mean wow he was a genius this episode and he was the only adult two LOLz. I mean yelling at Mohinder and Matt to behave HAHA. I also loved his bad ass attitude seriously Peter is turning into his 5 Years Gone future self I sense Sylar being the one giving our Peter the scar later on down the road. Also I'm not sure Matt is the one who explodes the place, it shows him with explosives around him but it doesn't show him exploding the place.

Spoiler:

Theres a spoiler in the finale episode of Volume 3 that Peter and Sylar will be fighting in it. I think Sylar could explode the thing this time.

Although it'd be amazing if it was Matt cuz than it'd change that story a little bit, I do think at the end Nathan will sadly be killed by Sylar like in 5 Years Gone which will lead to

I am Sylar episode title cuz he'd transforme into Sylar in front of Peter or some one else.
