Episode 3.25: 'An Invisible Thread' (Season Finale)

Episode description: AS “VOLUME 4: FUGITIVES” COMES TO A CLOSE, THE FIGHT TO STOP SYLAR HAS CONSEQUENCES THAT WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING – EMMY AWARD-WINNER ZELJKO IVANEK AND MICHAEL DORN GUEST STAR – Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) faces off against Sylar (Zachary Quinto) to keep him from meeting the President (guest star Michael Dorn). Sylar has his own plans for his new partner. Meanwhile, Hiro (Masi Oka) learns that there are repercussions to regaining his ability. Elsewhere, Matt (Greg Grunberg) is forced to go to extraordinary lengths to protect his future with his family. Jack Coleman, James Kyson Lee, Hayden Panettiere, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Cristine Rose and Milo Ventimiglia also star.

I am so looking forward to the season finale....I have to wait until Thursday to see it and I am gonna have to try really hard not to read what happens online once it has aired!!!

It looks like there is going to be a lot of Peter action in this episode...I can't wait!

I don't know if it is just me but I am gettingt really nervous about the season finale....I am really hoping that nothing happens to Peter...the anticipation is killing me!

Yah cuz than we have to wait a whole nother couple of months for new episodes with Peter in it

What a disappointing, ridiculous mess. I loved season one, but this is not the Heroes I was once given.

First, the Sylar/Claire scene was creepy and disgusting. I can't believe they even went there with them.

The big Sylar/Nathan/Peter fight was.... offscreen. A big build up just to see Claire's big eyeball watching it. I get the budget, but something, anything, would have been better than that.

Isn't it just wonderful they keep Sylar but kill off Nathan. *sarcasm*

Where is the real Nathan's body?

So the only thing they can do to protect themselves is to keep Sylar alive?

Claire's blood can heal and can save Nathan. Do Angela and HRG think of that? No. Peter can shapeshift now. Do Angela and HRG think of that so Peter can impersonate Nathan to make things right? No. Matt can mind control. Do Angela and HRG think of using him to mind control the President to stop the government project against the Heroes? No. Instead they come to the most logical decision of keeping Sylar alive. Ridiculous.

Tim Kring wrote this. A typical example of how he makes characters do absolutely stupid and ridiculous decisions just to make his stupid and ridiculous plots work. NBC please, for the love of god, replace him before next season starts.

I'm joining you, Kelly, in ranting about this episode. I agree with everyone of your complaints. I really hated the scenes with Sylar and Claire. Why? Was this another reason to keep Sylar front and center? I am so over this show and I don't know if even my Milo love can keep me watching next season.

I just finished reading Greg Beeman's blog, and if all the producers feel the same way about ZQ as he does, then I understand why this has become the Sylar show. He has nice things to say about all the actors he worked with, but he waxes poetic about Zach. I don't blame Zach, he is a good actor and deserves the praise, but in retrospect he should have been gone at the end of the first season. Sylar's presence has ruined this show for me.

Well I'll say this I did love that limo scene between Peter and Sylar that was so wicked the way Peter took him down like that. Plus I loved Peters attitude in the episode so eager to take down Sylar, cool.
