Hi, Roxy.

It's wonderful to have you here! Thanks for stopping by.

Maybe as Lynn said, since his character isn't all that "prominent" in the second ep, maybe it's why they "emphasized" more on Daphne because she's more recognizable... But I'm sure as Milo/Chris gets more heavily entagled in the anti-war plot and seriously involved with Meg, the focus will deviate from Daphne and they'll finally focus on his part in the show and promote him accordingly... *shrug*

I'm going to hold you to that I'm glad that you will. It'll be like old times again when he used to be on GG and we all discussed his work and the ep. I've missed that.

At the beginning of the promo there was a fight scene and it happened so fast, but one of the fighters looked kind of like it could have been Milo. He would be wearing the shirt that Milo had on in the first episode promo photo shots. If Canopus did indeed download it, maybe we could determine if it was Milo. Do we know if he gets into a fight in the first episode?

I think the reason why they mostly focused on Daphne Zuniga is because at first, she is going to be the real shocker. I mean, you see... the Pryor family is this moral, upstanding Catholic family... and then they have a *edit* move in next-door? NOT going to go over well!

I am so happy that all of you love the show! It was such a good episode, I am so excited for the season!

And don't worry about Milo getting exposure... I saw them film a scene the other day, and he definitely has some major storylines. He was at a protest rally, and it was so good!

Lynn- if it's the shot I think you mean, it was 2 African American guys fighting, maybe Sam and someone.

ADFanClub- Thanks for posting! I made a small edit in your post though because it's a spoiler. And I'd like to say that you are the envy of all of us here that you actually get to see Milo perform up close. To love his acting on screen is one thing, but it couldn't compare to seeing him act in person.
Thanks for sharing that

Aw, man, Kelly. You have no idea.
I've been watching that network for so long, and they have by far the worst promo department ever. And I have hatred towards Jeff Zucker (well, the way he does his job) like no other.

Well, I wasn't exactly up close, I was just kind of walking by, but it was still pretty cool.

AvidTVfan- I despise pretty much all tv execs, because it seems as though they make the dumbest decisions known to man, but if you are a fan of American Dreams, then Jeff Zucker may just be a savior. He is in love with AD, and he may be the reason it hasn't been canceled in seasons past.

I'm hoping, if ratings don't really pick up all that much right away, that Jeff sees the potential for the show with all the new directions that are happening to it and with the introduction of Milo's character and continues to be patient.

Can anyone find out what the ratings were for tonights episode?

Thank you AmericanDreamsFanCub, for your insights. It's very much appreciated. And I hope also Jeff Zucker remains a staunch supporter and continues to be patient with the show. It has a lot going for it...

Kelly, I think the ratings come out later this morning... I'll check and let you know... I don't know how well it would have done with ABC's Extreme Makeover : Home Edition premiering as well... hopefully it held its own...

Zuniga's promo

I don't see the promo. How is Daphne Zuniga? Cute? Nice?

I so look forward to of even in this series. I love her character. She has a style very different from Pryor.

Excuse me for my bad english.

You're english is fine, Martin. I haven't gotten to watch it yet so I can't tell you how she was but I'm sure Daphne was her usual beautiful self.

Just 6 more days, guys!!

Can you believe how close we are to watching our Milo perform again?

So Milo's role doesn't start until the next episode? Is he just an occasional character or will he be featured in most episodes? I tuned in last night and was disappointed not to see him.

C h r i s, Milo's status is recurring. He'll become a major character, especially because of his involvement with the anti-war movement and with Meg. As of now, Milo is set to appear in eps 2 through 10, with a guaranteed additional ep... and possibly more.

The ratings for last night, according to zap2it.com :

Quote:
ABC grabbed first at 8 p.m. with the 8.4/13 for the first hour of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." CBS was second for the hour with the tepid 6.1/10 premiere of the baseball drama "Clubhouse," which actually finished in fifth for the hour in the 18-49 demographic. The season premiere of "American Dreams" had a 5.6/9 on NBC. FOX was fourth with the "Fashion Rocks" special and The WB had a 3.0/5 for "Charmed."
Kinda bummed that Clubhouse took second. *pout*

I don't know if these AD ratings numbers are good or bad or consistent with the numbers of previous seasons. And we don't have the numbers for where they were in the 18-49 demo.

Okay, okay. True. Better him having AD as his pet show than Good Morning, Miami (JUST BECAUSE IT'S THE STORY OF HIS LIFE).
I just have a major problem with how he's screwed so many shows on NBC over.
