Ok, so I justed watched AD, and I gotta say, its a great show. A little too great-I cried twice. I think I get why Will Esties and Milo are such good friends-they're both awsome actors. Both very effective and affecting.

I was looking for Milo on the preview, but all we got was his mom. Can't wait until next week.

I think I like Meg more then Rory.

Its gonna be a hell of a ride with this show.

I'm absolutely stunned...
The promo after AD tonight not only did NOT show Milo, but it didn't even mention him!! Nodda. They mentioned and showed Daphne Zuniga though. What is NBC thinking?? Why would they not promote him for his first ep??

Wow I seriously don't know why I havn't watched American Dreams earlier, it's a great show. Now I'm even more excited for Milo to appear on it, because the writing is really good, and I'm sure that he's going to get great material to work with.

I really like Meg, and think that her and Chris will have great chemistry together. (I hope)

ETA: It is weird that they wouldn't promote Milo in the promo. Maybe they thought that Daphne Zuniga would attract enough viewers or something?

Okay, setting my shock aside to write this-

-I agree Lily, Chris and Meg should be great in their scenes!
-I can't believe how much Patty has grown since I last saw this show!
-I loved when the Sister smoked the cig but you knew that was coming.
-Will was excellent tonight, especially on the phone with Beth at the end.
-The writing and production of this series is excellent, but I couldn't help think tonight as I watched that Milo's character will definately add some more 'oomph' to the series. I'm looking forward to next week even more now

someone in the NBC promo department needs to be canned!

Maybe Daphne has more of an impact in this their first episode. Maybe they will promote Milo when his part becomes more intregal to the storyline. Afterall, he isn't supposed to have that great an impact in his first episode, is he?

God, I love AD. Such a beautiful show with great writing and acting. I've missed it over the summer.

I was disappointed Milo wasn't in this episode, but it is understandable since they seemed to have quite a few things to address before introducing more new characters. I hoped he would at least be shown in the previews though. I can't believe they didn't show him there either, especially since I would think they'd want to promote any young guy that could be a love interest for Meg.

I wish they'd shown a little more of what happened where the finale left off instead of just showing it all in the opening scene, but I am glad they at least did some flashbacks.

Are you serious? Milo has a more importantly significant role on the show and they don't promote it!!!??? I get that Daphne is a little better known but... still... Milo will have a more substantial role than Daphne's... I just don't get it.

Milo will bring a lot of attention to this show and his character is more important to it's story than Daphne's is. Ugh I even had Canopus tape the promo to make a download for everyone I don't get it either.
I can only hope they have new promos with him during the week.

He already has, it seems, just from looking at this board. It looks like a lot of people that didn't watch the show before are now tuning in for him and enjoying the show. That's really great for both AD and Milo. Hopefully they'll recognize that and include him in some promos later this week, like you said.

And hi! I'm going to have to start posting here every week after AD. I have a hard time keeping up with too many boards, but I hope I can keep up with this thread so I have a place to discuss the show.
