^^ That is a great example!

I think actually there is a Bonnie and Clyde remake happening, with Hilary Duff set to star, and apparently, Faye Dunaway, who made the role famous is like literally sickened at the thought of a "Hollywood tart" playing her role.

IMO, Faye needs to grow up and see this as a compliment.

She's a huge icon right now and I would think Faye would have a better opinion on this. It is really a big compliment that she is even considered for the roll.

^^ I agree.

They are doing so many movie remakes, I hope they never attempt to do a remake of one of Johnny's movies.

No one could pull it off.

I know there have been several books written about Bonnie and Clyde, over the years, but I don't think the movie was based on any particular one.

Personally, I am not a fan of remakes and I understand Faye Dunaway's feelings regarding someone like Hilary Duff playing her in a remake. The great thing about their story is that you can do another film and it doesn't have to be anything like the original, you could could change the plot, while still keeping factual events, and the title and not call it a remake and people might not get so bent out of shape over it. Bonnie and Clyde was a great movie, with both Faye and Warren Beatty giving outstanding performances, it deserves to stand on its own.

And there is no doubt that Johnny would make a great Clyde, his awesome work as Dillinger proved that.
