I found that Zodiac was long like that, but again, being based on true events they wanted to keep the details included.

How do you get motion sickness from a movie?

I saw it again with my mom this past weekend, and she asked me the same thing I didn't the second time I saw it! (I love this movie! ) and it is because of the way Michael Mann moves the camera alot when everyone is standing still, or not moving that fast. It is possible to get motion sickness from a movie, though it rarely happens to me, I think that was the first time it's happened

I've just never heard of that before, motions sickness from a movie.

The only movie, that I saw in theatre like 10 times, that gave me a queasy feeling, which could be termed 'motion sickness', now that I think about it, is when I saw "TITANIC". The rushing water and being at see and the deaths made me nauseous.

But from rapid camera movement or different angles shot from cameras, I've never had that nauseous feeling since.

That makes sense why you got it from "Titanic". Maybe I didn't get motion sickness, but I seem to get it with the way the camera moved so I assumed it was motion sickness.

I really enjoyed this movie and I already want to see it again! Giovanni Ribisi looks like the real Alvin Karpis if you have ever seen a picture of him. Everyone was well cast in that film, though they took some liberties with events, but that's usually what happens in these kinds of films.

They always take liberties, it's part of 'entertainment' you know.

Yeah I know, I just wish movies could go for more accuracy, but sometimes I can understand why they take the liberties they do. For example:

Spoiler:

Pretty Boy Floyd was gunned down after Johnnie Dillinger, not before.

^^^ I know, but for entertainment value:

Spoiler:
The 'villain' that you're 'rooting' for goes out last.

How could I have not thought of that? So true!

The book from where they go the material from is really fascinating. It isn't just about Dillinger but all the people in the movie and others such as Bonnie and Clyde. A great read!

I have the book and have started it, but haven't had time to get into it more. It's also more about how the FBI was formed and became what it is. I thought that was an interesting aspect to the book.

It's not just about bank robbers and their story, but how their actions affected the authorities and how, because of them, the FBI began really.
