| I can always count on Polanski making a film I like, but have the devil of time, pun intended, understanding. I really do love this movie, but the end always seems like a bit of a letdown, another trait of Polanski films for me. But Johnny and books and the devil all make for an interesting combination and equal one of my favorite JD films, despite the rather anemic ending. | |||
