I thought the movie was exciting, overall.
It was a bit slow to start, but as soon as you find out the target that must be completed. It's almost like it's playing in real time. Christopher Walken is a great co-star, he and Johnny worked well together. Johnny was great with what he had to work with. Overall, I was disappointed in the ending. There was so much build up to the 'big event' and then it happens etc...and it ended right after that. No explanations or closure on the story. I would have liked to have seen more closure with the characters. I can see why Johnny doesn't do to many films like this one, it doesn't give him the right outlet to show his genius! |

the only ones from your list that I have seen is Private Resort only cos i haven't had the time to watch it on youtube. but i willwatch it soon i promise. I loved Arizona Dream, its in my top 5 Johnny D movie. other than the two movies on the board JD board that haven't come out yet, I've seen every Johnny Depp movie, with the exception of nightmare on elms street which i don't ever plan on watching not even JD can make me watch a movie like that. __________________

The 7th is a french film he did. The english title is: "And They Lived Happily Ever After "
I liked Johnny in this movie, Nick of Time, but the ending sort of fell flat. There was so much build up throughout the whole movie of will he or won't he and we find out, but the ending was so abrupt there was no, "Where are they now?" sort of closure. Which is something I like to see in movies, closure with the characters! |

I really like Nick of Time. It was really slated where I live, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it on DVD, and I've seen it a few times now.

But Johnny as a regular guy is what I think made it fall flat. He does quirky better than he does normal, if that makes sense.

It's been a really long time since I saw this movie, but I really loved it when I watched it. Johnny is amazing as always in it!
