I think he can eat, I mean they showed him eating at the BBQ, people shoving food in his mouth.

From what I gather, he was all real, except for hands.

But I see what you mean, it was clarified for certain. So that would be what I would want to know.

1. Did you re-watch the movie in order to share your comments and opinions or are you posting your comments and opinions from what you remember of the movie?
From memory. I haven't seen the film in quite awhile and I don't own it, so I'll have to rely on my memory.

2. What was the best scene in the movie and why?
I love when Edward is carving the ice sculpture and the ice/snow falls down all around and Winona Ryder dances in it. It's such a pretty and sweet scene.

3. What did you think of the cast?
I liked Diane Weist, she was so sweet and caring. I've never really cared for Winona Ryder and she always makes it hard for me to watch this. Anthony Michael Hall was great as the bad guy, which was surprising, since I was so sued to seeing him as the little geeky guy. And I loved Vincent Price's brief cameo.

4. Did you like the way the movie was filmed?
Absolutely. Tim Burton always give each of his films a unique and beautiful vision. The pastel houses, the bright clothes and cars, the castle Edward live in, all create a pretty fairytale world.

5. What one thing would you change about the movie and why?
I can't really think of anything.

6. Anything else to add:
I've always thought there was no other actor who could have captured the essence of a character like Edward the way Johnny did. He conveyed so much with so little. His eyes, his face there was a whole world of emotion and feeling in them and it all transcended the bizarre clothes, hair and makeup and brought out the heart within it.

I re-watched. Just had too!

2. What was the best scene in the movie and why?

I loved the scene you mentioned Harley, but I also thought it was too funny when Diane Weist's character was trying to help Edward with his scars on his face, and he had clips in his hair and all that stuff. It was just funny to watch.

3. What did you think of the cast?

I loved the cast, Diane Weist was just too adorable and naive, I loved that about her character. Especially when she was going around house to house "Avon calling". Loved it.

Vincent Price, his cameo was great, having a classic movie icon like him to make an appearance was just awesome!

Finally, Kathy Baker as the 'seductress' was too funny as well. Especially when she was 'trying on her different capes' for Edward.

4. Did you like the way the movie was filmed?

I loved the contrast from the darkness of the old castle Edward lived in, to the bright green grass and bright coloured houses. Tim Burton is great with his use of colour in a dark theme.

For example, even though the house on the hill that Edward was living in was dark, the garden and yard that he maintained was beautiful, showing that just because he looked dark and spooky, doesn't mean he is too.

5. What one thing would you change about the movie and why?

Winona's hair colour. It was too orange to me, it should have been blonder.

6. Anything else to add:

Loved the leather suit Johnny wore for the role, too hot!

I first saw it at the cinema, and it totally blew me away, and still does! Johnny's performance is what got me into him in the first place. I've got to watch my DVD again before Christmas!

This is a classic Johnny Movie!

It was on TV the other day actually.

I think it's considered a bit of a Christmas movie because of the theme of the movie as well!
