| Graphics Team   | Jack Sparrow Scene Survivor - Come in and vote for your favourite moment! To celebrate that the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is coming closer and closer, I thought this would be a fun thing to do!  This is how it works. Each round, you vote for your LEAST favourite Jack moment. After each round, the scene with the most votes gets eliminated, so that in the end, only one moment will be left! Each round lasts 2 days (or until there is a big majority of votes). On with it!  (Oh and, I realize that I left out a lot of great scenes, but I had to narrow it down as much as possible, otherwise this would take yeeeeaaars  )NUMBER 1  Jack's entrance in Curse of the Black Pearl NUMBER 2  Mullroy: You don’t have permission to be aboard there, mate. Jack : I’m sorry, it’s just - it’s such a pretty boat. Ship. Murtogg: What’s your name? Jack : Smith. Or Smithy, if you like. Mullroy: What’s your purpose in Port Royal , Mr. Smith ? Murtogg: Yeah. and no lies. Jack: Well, then, I confess, it is my intention to commandeer one of these ships, pick up a crew in Tortuga, raid, pillage, plunder and otherwise pilfer my weasely black guts out! Murtogg: I said no lies! Mullroy: I think he’s telling the truth. Murtogg: If he were telling the truth, he wouldn’t have told us. Jack : Unless, of course, he knew you wouldn’t believe the truth even if he told it to you. NUMBER 3  Jack escapes (for now). "Sticks and stones, love. I saved your life, you save mine, we’re square. Gentlemen, m’lady, you will always remember this as the day that you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow!" NUMBER 4  Jack : Scarlett ! [she slaps him] Not sure I deserved that. Giselle! Giselle: Who was she?! Jack : What? [she slaps him] I may have deserved that. NUMBER 5  "STOP BLOWING HOLES IN MY SHIP!" NUMBER 6  Jack trying to find the rum NUMBER 7  Jack : But why is the rum gone? Jack : [takes out pistol, thinks better of it and puts it back, stalks off, imitates Elizabeth ] “Must’ve been terrible for you to be trapped here, Jack . Must’ve been terrible for you.” Well it bloody is now! NUMBER 8  Jack takes a coin out of the chest and fights Barbossa NUMBER 9  Jack : [notices the parrot] Well! I’m actually feeling rather good about this. [to Governor Swann ] I think we've all arrived at a very special place, eh? Spiritually…Ecumenically…Grammatically? [to Norrington] I want you to know that I was rooting for you, mate. Know that. Elizabeth …it would never have worked between us, darling. I’m sorry. Will …nice hat. Friends! This is the day that you will always remember as the day that – [falls over battlement] NUMBER 10  Jack : [walks over to the helm and looks around fondly] On deck, you scabrous dogs! Man the braces! Let down and haul to run free. Now...bring me that horizon. [hums and takes out his compass] And really bad eggs…drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. NUMBER 11  Jack's entrance in Dead Man's Chest NUMBER 12  "No! Much more better. It is a *drawing* of a key." "No! If we don't have the key, we can't open whatever it is we don't have that it unlocks. So what purpose would be served in finding whatever need be unlocked, which we don't have, without first having found the key what unlocks it?" NUMBER 13  "Why is the rum always gone? ... Oh, that's why." NUMBER 14  Jack: All on deck! Run! And keep running! Run as if the devil himself and itself is upon us! Gibbs: Do we have a heading? Jack: Ah! Ooh! Run! Land. [Jack rises from where he was ducked behind the base of the mast, sees Gibbs again] Jack: Oh! Euh! Gibbs: Which port? Jack: Didn't say port. I said land. Any land! NUMBER 15  Jack escapes once again... Jack: Oh bugger. [he drops his coil of rope, sprinkles paprika on his armpits] Little seasoning. Eh? NUMBER 16  Fruit fight! NUMBER 17  And Jack escapes AGAIN, running towards the Black Pearl, screaming. NUMBER 18  Threeway sword fight! NUMBER 19  "Come to negotiate, eh, have you, you slimy git? Look what I got. I got a jar of dirt! I got a jar of dirt! And guess what's inside it?" NUMBER 20  "Pirate." NUMBER 21  Jack fights the Kracken, which in the end swallows him whole. "Hello, beastie." ------------- my vote goes to.. Uhhhmmmm.. #20. get voting!!  | |||

| That's a great idea, but very difficult too - I don't know which one to choose!!! Wouldn't it be better if in each round there are 2 moments and one is left out the other gets into the next round?! | Graphics Team | yeah but the problem with that is, that while it is easier to choose, it doesn't really determine everyone's MOST favourite moment, because say if in round one, you have A against B, and in round 2, you have C against D.. And B and C get voted off, but you actually like D less than B... that's not really fair  and this just got way too confusing  sorry! | |||
