The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present day. No, because he doesn't like such events. Too many people form Hollywood and too much paparazzi.

I got a bit uncertain when I read it was shown at the festival.

I read somewhere that it hasn't got great reviews, but I really hope it will be released here in Sweden too.

No Johnny in sight at Cannes

Although he was expected to attend the Cannes premiere of "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus", Johnny Depp dropped out because of a commitment on his new movie shoot — in Puerto Rico for The Rum Diary. Because he is also a producer, Depp felt he could not get away to attend Cannes.

It is sad, but at least they didn't scrap his last movie and hired Johnny and Jude and Colin to help finish it!

It's a sad reason why Johnny, Jude and Colin are in this movie. It's been over a year since Ledger died, and I still can't believe it happened. Talk about coming out of left field. I will never forget where I was when I heard it, and who told me...it's one of those moments.

That being said, I'm glad they were able to save this movie and able to make it. I think it is important to Heath's family and fans that it was finished and that it be distributed. I can't wait to see Heath's final performance.
