I think a lot of people in Hollywood underestimate him in the sense that...he's 'just a pretty face' you know.

He's very intellectual and is aware of the world around him.

Hollywood underestimates a lot of people, but his character shows in the small things he does. (EI. Giving a restaurant and it's staff a $3000 dollar tip because he loved the service.)

I wish there was a picture that could capture those things about him you know.

I don't know about the ring, but when he puts a big hat and sun glasses on, probably he is trying to hide. But he cannot hide from me, because his lips are the cause I like him so much, from his first film that I saw.
