The Blockbuster that I go to doesn't carry it, but my library does on VHS, lol it's super old. But it's free!! Blockbuster is way too expensive nowadays, it's like $5 to rent a movie!!

This is the second movie of Johnny's that I have not seen, but I keep seeing previews for it.

I wish I could get my hands on it!

i hate black and white movie with a passion, so i was a little worried that i wouldn'y like this movie. But i loved it, Tim Burton is a ****ing genius and Johnny Depp is so great in this. While i was watching i kept seeing other character JD has played.

I'm not a huge fan of black and white films, but I did like this one.

When the topic is serious, I find black and white films make you pay attention more.

For example, Schindler's List did not need to be in colour.

I'm a pretty big fan of black and white movies, but not always with modern films (as it doesn't always feel authentic), but this movie was done right. And the whole time Johnny was on screen I really wanted to be his friend. He was just so much fun to watch in this movie and the other actors seemed to come alive by the way he acted. Great movie!

I love the black and whites of movies when it's a Marilyn Monroe movie.

But it's all in the direction I think, and Tim Burton is amazing at that.

My sister would agree with you on the Marilyn Monroe thing.

And if there was ever a director I would trust for vision it is Tim. I know why Ed Wood wasn't widely received, but at the same time I don't. It is just awesome.

There are a lot of Johnny Movies that I wouldn't have come across if I hadn't seen them in the video store!

Like From Hell, The Ninth Gate.

Ed Wood was done in '95 I believe, and I just never got around to watching it then.

I saw From Hell on video because I didn't get a chance to see it in the theater. And I saw Ninth Gate because my dad loves the type of movies and I said I would go because Johnny Depp was in it.

But I remember when Ed Wood came out and those that loved that type of movie loved and those who don't didn't.... which is probably true even now...
