well, Keith had an enormous influence on Lucas' life. And he still has in my opinion, even though now he's dead

but Karen is his mom. She raised him, she gave him everything, she fought to make him as happier as she could. I think nobody counts in Lucas' life like his mom

I think it's Karen too. She's his mother even if Keith was always like father to him Karen was the the one with final word.

Dan definitely had, and still has, a big influence on Lucas and his life. Just think about all of Lucas' insecurities

I think everyone of them had a big influence on his life . I guess maybe Karen more cause she's his mom after all but I think a person is really a combination of emotions which were influenced by all those people which are or were invovled in their lives .

I would say Karen. Ofcourse Keith has been around Luke his whole life, and was a very big part of it, but his mom is who he loves with his heart and soul, and the very fact that she IS his mother, and raised him alone means alot, and Luke really looks up to Karen. He has always said he's proud of her, and thats a HUGE influence right there.

I agree with this, all of them have influenced him, in the good and the bad. just think about Whitey, how many things he taught Lucas, helping him understand that the most important things in life is not basketball, but also helping him in feeling part of something when he offered him a spot in the team.

but I do believe Karen is the one that influenced him the most, because he grew up with her and they share something so deep and important as it is the feeling of having been abandoned, since Dan left both

that's awesome. I just watched the episode. I seriously love that Keith still holds such an important place in Lucas' heart and life. I loved he was thinking about Keith and he asked Keith to help him. I feel like their bond is stronger than ever, even though Keith is dead.

I was watching 3.15 to try to see if Karen's ring was really the same Lucas gave Lindsey. And I happened to watch again the piece where Keith told Lucas he would have loved to adopt him because he wanted him to be his son. Lucas' smile after that was amazing

I really feel like the Lucas&Keith relationship is one of the best developed relationships on the show, even though Keith hasn't been on the show for 2 season now.

it's hard to say. there never was a closeup of the ring and the quality of the cap if you crop just the ring isn't the best. anyway, even if it was different, it wouldn't mean much, because OTH isn't known for continuity. didn't they show different dates on Keith's tombstone?

besides, that was season 3, so I doubt they would still have that same ring. if Peyton wasn't lying, we just have to assume it was the same ring, even if probably it's not
