Chad Michael Murray - Let's get to know eachother...

Hey everyone.

This is kind of an off topic thread, but Roxy agrees with me that the board is not so familiar anymore (if it ever was).

The thing is that we would like to be a more united board, with fresh threads and funny things to spend our time. We would like the board to be a warm and familiar place, were we really feel comfortable and welcomed.

I realised I don't know most of you personally, I know the three or four main regulars, and the girls over the spanish thread and that's all.

And Roxy and I would like to know the names of every each one of you, (and if not the name you know..the nickname), and know you personally. We would like to know something from you appart from the fact that you love Chad (because that's obvious, we all love Chad here

).

That's why I came up with sort of a Quiz, just to get to know eachother a little bit more.

NAME : Cristina, people calls me Cris, or Kri, or...you can make up a new one if you like

LOCATION: I'm from Barcelona, Spain

AGE : 18 soon to be 19 (soon means two months

WHAT DO YOU DO : I am studying English Philology at university. I am in love with books, and with the english language and that's why I choose to do this. My aspiration in life is to become a writer, but since I am not sure myself I am able to do so I will probably end up being a translator. Anyway, I enjoy myself so much studying literature.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS : I love writing, reading and photography. I'm a big music and cinema fan, and obviously I adore internet and Fan Forum. Obviously, I'm addicted to all kind of TV-series. My favourite ones are Friends, Gilmore Girls, ER and lately I'm pretty obssesed with The OC.

SOMETHING ELSE ABOUT YOU: I must confess Chad is not the only man on my life. Yeah, I have one hundred of different celebritie-crushed, and favourite actors. That's why my weekly obsessions include different guys every week, but Chad is always on my list

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT CHAD: About Chad...I really love his tone of voice. Is not that he's got a particular voice but I like the way he speaks, sometimes whispering, other not...but always calm. I really like his lips/eyes/face whathever....and his hair. Because although I'm one of the only ones that adores him with long hair, I really like the different hair-styles he've got during his career.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS: I love photography, and volunteer work. I'm obsessed with anything that has to do with TV, Movies, or Music. Currently though, my favorite tv shows are Friends, Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, The Mountain, and Reba.

SOMETHING ELSE ABOUT YOU: I love a ton of celebrity guys, but Chad has always been #1. And I run track in the spring.

WHAT DO YOU DO: I'm a senior in high school. I have no idea where I want to go to school next year or what I want to do with my life.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS: I don't have very many hobbies or interests. I really enjoy TV and being online, and I've recently become interested in book-making. It's just something I enjoy, although I still have a lot to improve on.

SOMETHING ELSE ABOUT YOU: Hmm. I love John Mayer, Maroon 5, Jason Mraz, and Guster. Guster is definitely my favorite band.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT CHAD: He's an attractive guy, and I love his personality. In interviews, he always comes off very friendly with a good sense of humor. It's always refreshing to see that. I also like how good he is to his fans. Everyone that meets him always seems to mention how nice he is. I hate hearing about celebs constantly being rude to their fans. He just seems like a genuine person.

AGE (you can skip this one if you want to): I just turned 18 last week

WHAT DO YOU DO (in life, as if..if you're studying, working or doing nothing at all): Right now, I'm a senior in high school. I'm excited about going to college - I'm sort of narrowed down to what schools I'm interested in, but I feel like I'm not prepared to go yet. My school isn't helping much with the whole college process - so that's a little stressful...

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS : Hmm...I'm online almost every day - it's fun

About a month ago, I became obsessed with the Music board with their games like ABC song list, ABC bands, etc. I LOVE to listen to music. My favorite bands are Dashboard Confessional, Gavin DeGraw, the older songs Ryan Adams wrote, and Good Charlotte. I just started liking Maroon 5, Jet, and Yellowcard. My fav songs of the moment are "Vindicated" by DC, "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5, and "Break Away" by Kelly Clarkson. I also like going to the movies - I just saw Princess Diaries 2 last night (which to me, wasn't as good as the first one...) I also really like to find a good book to read - you MUST read the DaVinci Code - it's awesome. I loved reading Pride and Prejudiced

SOMETHING ELSE ABOUT YOU: My favorite sport is baseball; it's probably the only sport I understand and can watch. Not to mention there are some pretty hot guys on the team *clears throat* Pat Burrell, Chase Utley *cough*

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT CHAD:I like that he seems very down to earth. From some of the interviews, he seems to have an off-beat sense of humor - like on Sharon Osbourne - how did they even get in to the Cocksuckers restraunt topic? I also really like the way he acts and the way he depicts his emotions through his eyes.

I think this is really interesting. I was visiting some sites before about it, and there are really beautiful things done. I think I might jump into that wagon and try to see if I am able to do something.."good".

I was talking about this with some friends today! Actors should be really nice to their fans, this is the reason why they're there. And I really love that Chad is one of those dedicated actors.

Rachel- Cool, a fellow Georgian. Have you seen the pilot for The Mountain?

Chrissy- Hee, the Crocksuckers restaurant conversation was hilarious. And it's pretty funny that he thought of that as a name for the place.

I've been wanting to read The DaVinci Code, but I haven't had much time. But I'm hoping to be able to read it soon. Everyone I know that's read it has loved it.

Kay- I love the Shopaholic series. The second book, Shopaholic Takes Manhattan, is my favorite. I loved the first one as well. I didn't enjoy the third as much, but it was still cute. I just ordered the fourth book from Amazon UK today, along with Can You Keep a Secret?. I love Sophie Kinsella.

ok, it's me again

I've been reading the thread and I've decided I'm going to know everyone in here... yep..

Chrissy what does PA mean? Philadelphia, Pensylvania (sp?).. I have no idea

wow I see I have a lot of music in common with people, that's awesome... I love Jason Mraz like Roxy.. and Dashboard just like Chrissy. My fave music is the black one, which includes 80's rap, blues, swing, lots of saxophones, you know.. the first non-black music I liked was Incubus, and now I appreciate some groups/singers that usually play acoustic guitar and sing along, and of course they have to do good lyrics, that's important.

I will read the davinci code definitely.. but I have sooo many books to read, right now I'm with Mrs Dalloway, which takes its time, and I'm about to start uni so I will have less time. But there are some book I can't wait to read like the davinci code, 1984, the pickwick papers, the lovely bones, and others...

WHAT DO YOU DO: Working in the wedding business everything from the flowers and dresses to the place of the event.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS : Right now I like soap and candle making. I love reading and all kinds music. I have had this really strange obession with Chris Issak this past month (it's probably just stress related). There are a whole bunch of things that I like to do.

SOMETHING ELSE ABOUT YOU: Ok lets see I am such a sap for movies like Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Cutting Edge. I think you get the picture. I tried yoga once but it just didn't work for me.

cris-Christina is too common a name sometimes...there's like 10 in my grade and my class size is very small. It's weird - one of my best friends names' is Christine...very confusing if you're around both of us

Roxy-You must read it! The beginning is kind of slow and you're like why does everyone like this, but it gets so good during the middle that you can't put it down

Don't worry, they're not mentioned in the US all that much either. I love "Best Deceptions" - I tend to belt songs out, but there's this really high part of the song that I can't reach, so it sounds awful

My favorites right now are of course "Hands Down" and "As Lovers Go". I really want to go see them in a concert - in the past week, I've heard more people going to see them in concert and I'm getting so jealous
