The original movies were terrible. The books honestly deserved so much better and I'm TOTALLY with you in pretending they never happened

I'm glad they've adopted a new strategy with a huge budget and much more established cast. I wish we could watch the audition tapes of the main trio, especially Chad's because apparently it was really really good

Yeah the fact that they are giving these books what they deserve is great.

Chad is so busy lately! While I'm happy for him I wish he would get back to doing his continuation of Everlast

Still, I am stoked for this film and can't wait to see what they do with it. I mean you've got Nicholas 'freakin' Cage! He was awesome in 'Knowing' and that's one of my favorite films from him and favorite apocolyptic films in general.

I doubt I'll be able to stay away from spoilers for it.

Its one of my favorite series!

With there being so many books I would get 4 of them at a time because I wasn't patient enough to wait for the rest so when I would finish one, I'd have another on stand by

They're roughly 400 pages long each. 16 books in all. 3 prequels, 12 in the main series, then 1 sequel.
