As you might of noticed, I deleted a bunch of old scans & videos from the last thread. We had stuff in there from this time last year, it was just time for them to go. I added in all the candids we have gotten of Chad over the past few weeks. If anyone thinks anything else should be added, let me know

I'm bringing this over from the previous thread, 'cause I would like to respond to it...

Hilarie making that video and giving this interview is very much in character, cause I think she's always been very much more open about her feelings about the show and everything else. But Chad's different, he's never been that kind of person. I think he left in the best way possible, which was to give so much of himself and his time to all the fans that went to Wilmington in the last weeks of filming. That was his way of saying thank you and goodbye. The best way possible in my opinion. All the rest is just words.

I agree with you Manu. If I've learned anything from being a fan of Chad, it's that no matter what the situation, keep your mouth shut and don't get bogged down in the drama. Chad has always been a gentleman, he never gets involved with all the hatred people can spew at him. I love him for being strong and not bashing others in the media. I rather Chad say nada over the issue over anything at all.

Amelia thanks for the new thread and I'm glad you agree with me. Chad's always been a gentleman, no matter what insults are thrown at him. People should learn from him.

I too thought it was a bit weird Manu, escp since he's not under contract anymore, and we all know he's not really tight with anyone from the cast, or not tight enough I would assume to go across country with one of them unless it was OTH related, which it could never be... ()

Chad is a true gentleman, and I forgot to say that I agree with everything said above. I really love how you put that he's already said goodbye to his OTH fans by giving them so much time during the last weeks of filming, that's so true That was his way of doing things.

I don't think Chad has a hard time getting parts, there are always tons of crappy and stupid Hollywood movies that will hire just about anyone thats known, just to get the film ''extra'' publicity'', but I think Chad might have a hard time finding a script he loves. No doubt the roles will come, Chad's a great actor and I can't wait for any new project he will have in the future, cause as long as it's something he wants and is passionate about, then I'm happy for him When Chad's passionate about something, he shows it on screen, so even if maybe the genre isn't your type, you can't help but love the film, because Chad did such an amazing job portraying his role.

I definitely believe Chad's way to say thank you and goodbye was to dedicate all the time he did to the fans in the latest months of filming, even the latest year, I'd say. Just think about all the enthusiastic stories we read from people that met him in the latest year, not only his fans but also people that didn't use to love him but fell in love after the meeting. That was Chad's way to say thank you to those that have supported him for years and helped him and the show become what they are now. I can't think of a better way to show his appreciation. Words are just words, they go away. The moments, the smiles, the attention he dedicated to all the fans that he met and made happy are worth more than a thousand words. And who had the big luck to meet him, as some of us in here, know that we don't really need him to tell us anything, cause he already did, with his care for his fans and the dedication he put into his work on the show over the years. There's gonna be a big hole on the show where Chad/Lucas used to be and no new character/characters will ever be able to fill it.

Manu, your words make me love him even more I'm really glad we got to experience him together, it is something I will never forget, as Chad truely does care about his fans, he's so genuine and honest. I have pics framed, which remind me of our experience every single day, I'd wish all of Chad's fans could meet him, cause I'm sure he'd love it, and the fans truely deserve to meet one of the most amazing people out there.

I second what you said, word for word. It's a great experience to meet Chad, because when you see him, he's totally devoted to you, if he has the time. I met him twice and didn't get the impression he wanted to get rid of me either time. On the contrary, he seemed to really enjoy talking with us, about the show and not only that. And he never acts like a diva, but like a simple guy, just like his fans. I can only wish him the best for his future. I'm sure he will do great, because he has the passion for acting, the talent and the strenght to go after his dreams.

this thread is so refreshing with all the chad hate going around at the moment its nice to read such nice things about him he is a great guy and he really focus on people while talking to them, thats one of the things i noticed when i met him and he always speaks with sooo much passion, i am proud to be a fan of him..
