Bethany Joy on Chad

"I've learned so much, especially with Chad. He is really good with camera and lighting and technical stuff.
He has learned a lot about that and he's really good to work with and so I have learned so much technically.
It's been amazing."

"It was freezing and raining and I'm getting smacked in the back of the head with this water balloon that's slamming me like a cantaloupe!
You would think that it would be the worst experience, but we just started cracking up and having a really great night!"

"So, I went to the audition, then I went to a bigger audition and then I went to a screen test where I read with Chad Michael Murray, and some sort of magic just happened in that room, between the two of us. Everybody could feel it. I had screen tested for a lot of different things and I had never felt that spark or connection. I left the audition and Chad chased me out into the parking lot afterwards, gave me a hug and said, "Welcome to "One Tree Hill". I can't give you the official word, but I think it's as good as yours." Then I got the phone call about two hours later, telling me that I got it. I had about seven days to get my stuff packed up and shipped out, before I found myself in North Carolina."

I have always really loved the Haley/Lucas friendship. I'm always excited when I see a scene come up on the schedule that's got me and Chad in it together. He really feels like my little brother. We've built a great friendship. That's what really stands out for me.

Chad Michael on Joy

"You have Joy who's very very to herself, you know, she keeps very much to herself. But she's so talented.
She's…she has a beautiful voice when she sings, she's you know… she plays you know, paino, guitar... She's just very artsy.
She wants to do alot of Broadway stuff like that later in her life."

"Oh my God.... I always knew Joy could sing, I mean every time we’re on set she’s belting something out and uh,
she’s adorable when she does it. I mean you know she’ll be playing the piano in the middle of Karen’s café or
she’ll just start singing in the middle of the makeup trailer. I mean what are you going to do? That’s Joy.
But her performance of the National Anthem, that was good. It was a way to get it kicked off.
You know we asked her and she said yeah, she volunteered, so thank you Joy. Joy thank you because you got a damn good voice
and you know when I looked at you I saw Sheryl Crow and I know you love her. You were perfect.
You did an incredible job. Thank you sweetheart."

i don't think it's had it's official opening yet, Natalie mentioned something to me about it the other day about maybe going, i think it's happening fairly soon. It'd be awesome if Chad was there! {and Hil}
