Hi everyone Deanna & I have decided to start a post count thread at our board. We both agree that we want all of our posters to have a look and see exactly how many posts we have on average per week on our board. Every Sunday at 2 pm EST, I will post the number of post our board currently has, which you can see at Male Celebrities page. By subtracting the post counts from week two minus week one, we will be able to see how many posts we racked up that week. As a part of 's rules, each board needs to meet a minimum of 15 posts a day (roughly 400 posts a month) to stay out of the red.

For the month of August 2009, we had 717 posts in the month and an average of 23.13 posts per day. We were ranked #182 out of 212 counting boards. Just a little info to show you exactly where we fall on the scale of things

We are not in trouble, we are doing pretty solid, but to prevent us from ever falling in the red, you can use this thread to see where we stand.

Wow, even though we aren't in the red, 23 posts a day is rather low I hope the board picks up.. I wonder what our post count was like this time last year.. Just to compare

Well in August 2008 we had the TCA's and Chad won his surfboard, and in September 2008 s6 of OTH started... but yeeeeaaah we have kinda fallen a bit

I know I don't really know what the heck happened. Like I guess after s6 premiered and Lucas' sl dwindled, people didn't post as much but I hope more people post once he gets a new role

I used to keep track of the post count when we were approaching 300,000 and in that period we used to have an avarage of 200 posts a day. It was like that for months. Then it went down when season 6 of OTH disappointed most of Chad/Lucas fans in here and Chad got into hiding for a year. Hopefully we'll get official info on Chad's new projects, that will help. I know I haven't been posting much lately, I'll try to be more present.

Thank you Manu I'm glad to hear that. And IA with you. When OTH was in the swing of things, we always had the spoiler's thread with a ton of posts, and we had more people posting in the episode discussion threads. We used to have a few girls, like Kelli and Kellie, post on the board all night long, but both girls don't really visit FanForum as often A lot of Chad/Lucas fans were alienated because of the lack of Lucas' stuff and Chad news so it's been kinda rough, to say the least. But I think if we just look at how much we post via this thread, we can steadily increase our monthly post counts and when Chad finally gets a new project, we will be up top once again with new people coming in to post

Yup, we are doing it today At 2 pm EST, 'cause that was the same time I started last week, so to be equal and get the best results I'll check at 2, which is in 3 1/2 hours . Thank you for your help, it really means a lot hun This is the first week we are counting, in the OP I put what our post count was at 2 pm last Sunday, so we will be able to see how many posts we have made since last week Then next week we can compare and see how much we have been improving

See? We just need to put a little effort into posting and bam, our post count soars And this is us posting with Chad doing nothing, atm Just wait until we have new photos or a project or something, then our post count will be super high

that's a great way to look at it Manu we are doing phenomenally already, I meant last month we had only 717 posts, and already in the middle of September we have over half of what we did last month, so we are on a steady incline to having better regular post counts

and I'm also thankful for all the wonderful regulars we have that post every day (or whenever they can) on the board, so thank you all

Let's try to get 500 posts this week
