nobody had started the thread so I did, I hope it's ok.
my review: I really loved it. I think it's one of the best episodes on the show. it made me cry, which I didn't expect, also because reading spoilers I thought to be prepared. but it still touched me. LH I liked he talked with Haley and admitted he wanted hs mum back, letting his emotions out. he always tends to keep things inside himself and I was glad to see him talking with her so openly. The scene was really sweet and touching. those 2 always have some of the best scenes on these show. I liked the way she reassured him and tried to comfort him. the flashback? total love. Lucas/Karen the dedication was adorable. she made up for the disappointment she gave me in the previous episode when she didn't believe Lucas. with this present and her words, she showed that Lucas is always the most important thing in her life and her first thought. loved it. As I really loved Lucas went into the operating room with his mum. Chad was absolutely great in portraying the entire scene, from the moment when he was getting dressed till the moment Lucas saw his sister. you could see only his eyes, but those were enough to see Lucas' emotions, thanks to Chad's ability to act with just his eyes. Lucas talking to his mum and telling her the baby doesn't even have a name yet touched me so much. this episode was full of sweet-dramatic scenes and Lucas talking to Karen was one of those. I really loved the way Lucas didn't want to get away from his mum, he kept repeating it during the episode and I really liked it. L&P I've been a little disappointed from the cuddling scene. it was good looking at it as a LP fan, but being first of all a Lucas fan, I expected something else. I wanted a scene where Peyton was really comforting him. but I guess I can't have everything I want. I loved the moment when she helped him getting dressed to go into the operating room, as I liked he gave her the baby to hold Lucas/Deb another great scene. Chad and Barbara have chemistry and are both great actors and the scene came out really good. again, great job from Chad with facial expressions. I liked the slap, I think that was realistic and also a good thing for Lucas in that moment Lucas/Dan I hate Dan. but I can't help but loving their scenes together. no matter what, I liked their dynamics more than any other on the show. there's something special in their scenes. I really really loved the way Chad portrayed the moment when Lucas told Dan he had Keith but Dan took him away from him and Karen. really a great job with face and voice. I really loved also Lucas saying he will be there for his sister. graduation amazing moment. that's when I cried, probably because the episode set up the emotion for that moment. I loved Haley mentioned her best friend and I loved Lucas smile when she did. NH for the first time in a long time I really enjoyed Nathan and NH. the moment when Nathan came back home from work and Haley looked at him was touching. as Nathan/Dan confrontation, especially when Nathan told him "I love you dad". the Nathan/Whitey scene in the cemetery was great as well Paul/Chad in the latest episodes these 2 have done an amazing job. they have both a big talent and when they work together the result is really great. I really appreciate the passion they put in these last episodes. I hope Mark will keep giving me good material, because when they have it, these two always amaze me |
my fav. part in the eppy was when nathan talked to dan and when whitey told nathan he´s gonna coach in college!!
:thud: this was a great eppy i really liked it! |
I'm gonna go watch it, I hope it's already on dailymotion!
Did we get to see Lucas with his baby sister in his arms? |
i think so yes. though i can't be sure i'm still waiting for my eppie to be done. :look:

This was a really fun episode since I saw like 50% of the scenes being filmed. I hadn't thought about Lucas possibly telling Deb about Dan, but I really liked that route. Who better to confide in than someone who's sort of crazy and really knows Dan? It actually made sense, especially since Deb knows what might have motivated Dan to shoot Keith. I also like that Deb took care of telling Nathan. That would've been really difficult for Lucas to do, and with the stress of his mother's health and his new sister, it was nice of Deb to take on that burden for him. She was surprisingly responsible in this episode. I loved how much she was there for Lucas. The scene in the hospital before graduation when everyone was trying to convince Lucas to go was really sweet. I loved seeing the collection of his friends from the past four seasons -- ones he made in S1 and ones he had before. This was really just a good episode. I can't believe the high school years are almost over. |

Is there seriously a possiblity of Karen dying? :look:
I thought it was a good ep  I swear LP are like hot and cold with me. I liked them last week but this week... they were so clinging or something :look: I think Chad was good this ep but i think James definitely owned it. I really loved the scene where he came home from 'work' and Haley saw him :( I think they sorta hit reality there and it was great. Not to mention what Nathan said to Dan. I hated that Dan held the baby. It was creepy. But maybe that was like his final moment that made him turn himself in  And i really liked how they wove the Bevin and Skills thing into all the drama. :D That was cute  And of course the best line was 'What are you, on drugs again?' :lmao: That was just too funny. I can't believe it's almost over :( |
ok so obviosuly i hated the LP scenes but at least it shows me i really can't stand them as a couple. not mentionning cheese and brooke but anyways...
To me Chad totally owned it! the way he is close to his mom and his scens with Deb and Dan. Just great. but James was good too hid hair just creeped me out even mopre than before. i loved Barry as always. the girls were good, i'm just sad we havent seen Brooke that much. I think Dan holding the baby is the moment that made him realize he has to turns himself. and that was good. paul was amazing too. really. I wish Rachel could have ben here at the end! :( that would have been great. seing them all here for Luke was something really nice too. I really dont think Karen can die but i guess with mark anything is possible. though seriously the baby with a dead dad and dead mom..nah it's just too much imo and i really hope Mark wont do that for the baby and for luke who considered keith as his daddy. |
I can't imagine Karen dying. I guess it's possible, but I just don't see them killing off the one sane parent. Deb may have been "normal" last night, but last week showed us that she still has problems. And well... we know Dan's crazy too.
Plus, it would be unfair to Lucas since he'd have to raise his sister on his own. I don't think Mark would do that. Quote:

i hope he won't.
that would be dumb cuz Karen (and Moira) is great it would be a terrible mistake. ha ha i love Deb she was great last night and the on drugs line was just great! :lmao: |
I finally saw the episode.
For once this season, I really liked the episode! It's the best one, and I can't wait to see the next one! Unfortunetly I won't be home next week, I'll be taking my finals and I have to go to another country! :( I really liked the fact that we got to see Deb and Lucas, their scenes were great! Deb was very present in this episode and she was really good, I'm glad we got to see her! the LH scenes were cute, I liked the flashback, season 1 was great for them! Concerning Karen, I hope she won't die, but I don't think the writers are going to make her die. I cried a little during graduation, it was an amazing moment, and Haley's speech was nice, I like the way she said she's having the baby! |
why do u think they r gonna kill her?
and duh i cant believe we actually have no spoilers about that one! |
Quote:
Yeah I was looking for spoilers about it and couldn't find any! |
oh sorry my mistake!
yeah i dont think we had some but i really dont think they would kill her, that would be damn stupid! |
