According to the IMDB, there are no plans to release it, but it was shown at the Orinda Film Festival in September. It was also shown for a week in November at two theatres in California.

The official website is here.

Cast picture. Adam's left arm.

There's a story summary on the website, but I think that tells the entire movie, so I'll just post the first bit of it.

Quote:
At home in Chicago, George Calden (Ed Asner) receives information regarding a downed jetfighter, possibility belonging to his son, Brendan, who has been missing in action since the Vietnam War. George tries to enlist his two remaining sons to go with him to search for Brendan's remains. While Sean (Richard Cox) a successful and wealthy entrepreneur who dodged the draft agrees to go, George's other son Bob (Robin Thomas) is reluctant because he served in Vietnam and has never quite recovered from the experience. Eventually he is persuaded and brings along his son Patrick (Adam Brody) on an unforgettable journey.
The site also provides a link to the trailer. Adam doesn't have any lines in it, but he kisses some girl and [possibly...I can't tell if it's him or not, but it probably is] jumps from some rocks into a lake (he's shirtless while he's doing it, if you're interested ).

The movie's name in the promo is Holding Out Hope, I guess they changed it somewhere along the line.

Yeah it's a good movie Adam looks so hot in it. He does have like a love interest in it. There is this one part by the water were she is like massaging him lol TOPLESS!!! hehehe He was awsome in it.

There is this one part were they're in the car and his dad is yelling at him and socks him one right in the face. It's sad

I saw this movie in IMDB, but had no idea what it was about. I figured it was about some guy named Brendan, and Adam Brody's character wasn't named Brendan so i didn't look into it. but now i want to see it. I hope it comes out to rent soon.

Sarah -thanks for the info on the movie.

Hear about this film because I checked the info at IMDB. The plot sounds interesting. I hope they release it sometime. But sometimes it's hard to find a distributor to release the film on VHS/DVD. Like it's been forever since I've wanted to see the film Chance with Amber Benson and James Marsters. But I don't think it's ever going to be released

Being a Roswell fan has taught me that most of the time, you don't have a chance of seeing movies done by new TV actors. I'm not going to get my hopes up, I don't think it'll ever be released.

Sarah- I totally get it because I was a Roswell fan still am. But many of the actors have done some movies I've wanted to see and most likely will never get to see them I just have to deal with it.
