"Lovewrecked" new Adam movie
Adam Brody will get the part of Jason (lead role, a rockstar) in the movie Lovewrecked with Amanda Bynes. Adam's co-star in Grind, Mike Vogel, was originally going to take the role, but his newest movie interefered with Lovewrecked so he dropped it.

Apparently Chris Carmack is the one in the lead role now, though. So I guess Adam won't be in it.

From a script by Stephen Langford, Lovewrecked stars Bynes as the 18-year-old Jenny, who is working at a luxurious tropical resort for the summer - where it just so happens her favorite rock star (Carmack) is a guest. After they are both thrown overboard during a cruise, they wash up on what they think to be a deserted island giving her a chance to make her move.

Stewart Hall will produce for Media 8, and Wendy Thorlakson and Joe Anderson will take on the duties for Bacon & Eggs.

In addition to The O.C., Carmack, repped by Writers and Artists Group International, was seen in the direct to video sequel to Bring It On, Bring It On Again, and with Dennis Hopper in the USA Network original made-for-TV The Last Ride.
