Ok, so for those of you who don�t know... we have been talking lately about how the show has lower quality lately, and how we would like to see an epi like thes ones from the beggining, with a lot of Seth and Ryan and not Marissa at all... or maybe just a little...

So, I decided to open this thread so we could all come up with a great epi and the best Seth lines! [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] I hope you all like the idea and start throwing ideas in! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Well like I mentioned if I were to write and episode for the O.C. I would definitely make it without Marissa.

One idea would be if Seth, Ryan, and Luke went on a roadtrip! That would just rock!

Just imagine all the funny lines that Seth would have.

There are tons of possibilities with a roadtrip with the guys.

We could make it start before they leave though, so we could have some Sandy and Kirsten on it, but the boys without all the triangle things would be just cool!

Yeah definitely we would have to have Kirsten and Sandy in some scenes like the beginning.

Also no triangle talk at all during the roadtrip either. Let them talk about other stuff like about how life was for Ryan when he was in Chino, stuff that we may not know about Seth, how Luke feels about his dad being gay.

I think it would be great to see these characters really talk and hang out. To make them bond [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Definitely bonding- to give us a chance to better understand where the characters are coming from and everything like that.

O.K I'll start.

Opening scene.
Seth, Kirsten, Ryan are in the kitchen having breakfast on a Saturday. The whole Oliver thing has gone down.

Seth walks in with a phone in his hand.
Seth: Ryan, it's for you.
Ryan: Who is it?
Seth (covering the mouthpiece): Marissa
Ryan (shakes his head) whispers: Tell her I'm not here.
Seth (still covering the mouthpiece): But I just told here you were here.
Ryan shruggs his shoulders and looks away.
Seth: Hey, Marissa, he's not here... (listening) yeah, I think he just stepped out or something (listening) yeah, I checked.... no, he's not the pool house or the kitchen... maybe he went running?... O.K, I'll tell him when he gets back.

Seth hangs up.
Sandy to Ryan: What was that about?
Ryan: I am not ready to deal with all that. I need some time to think.
Seth: Yeah, good plan.
Ryan: I don't know. I just feel like getting into a car and driving.
Sandy: To?
Ryan: Anywhere.
Seth: Yeah, sounds good. There's a comic book convention I was thinking..
Ryan shoots him a look.
Seth: On second thoughts, maybe not.
Sandy: How about Vegas?
Kirsten (disapproving): Sandy...
Sandy: Think about it. It's not too far from here and the boys are too young to get themselves into too much trouble.
Seth(pleading): Mom, please say yes... Ryan's manhood is on the line here...
Kirsten (thoughtfully): Only if you promise to be very careful and be on your best behavior (Seth nods)... Well, I've heard good things about the Wayne Newton concert. You might want to try that.
Seth (mortified): MOM! Goodness. You make the possibility of inheriting Dad's eyebrows sound more and more appealing everyday. How could you suggest that?
Ryan: Well, ignoring that other comment, Las Vegas sounds good.

One little think I wouldn�t have done was making Kirsetn suggest they go to Vegas... I don�t know why but I have a feeling she wouldn�t aprove at all about this trip... [img]smilies/tongue.gif[/img]

Ryan and Seth

Ryan: So how did the date go..
Seth: Date, what date...? Summer and I are friends watching T.V.
Ryan: (Looks)
Seth: What? We are...
Ryan: (Looks)
Seth: Okay, Okay, what is with that Linda Blair look, it's not a date, since I am still with Anna, but I like spending time with Summer and technically we are friends and it is innocent...
Ryan: (Looks) Okay, but be careful, cause the feelings you once had, can creep right back up on you before you know it...
Seth: Is that why Theresa is calling?
Ryan: (grins) what, no, were just..
Seth: Friends? (smiles)
Ryan: Go watch T.V.
Seth: See it's not just me..... I knew I wasn't the weakest.... So the question you have to ask yourself is, are you willing to let Theresa go for good, to be with Marrisa?
Ryan: The question is, shouldn't you be asking yourself that...? (Gives a look as he moves out of the way, revealing Summer sitting on the couch laughing at the T.V. as Seth stares at her..)
Seth: (ponders the thought as he whispers to himself) Seth, you are the weakest link, Good-Bye.....

Well, about the Vegas trip, I don't really think Kirsten would approve of the trip, much less suggest it. Other than that it was great. As was Sasha's. I loved the last line, of Seth's. PErfect.

Ryan (drily): Yeah, sounds interesting.
Seth (animated): Really you should have seen it. When Conan brought the sun flower nipple ring thing... (pauses) don't look now but Marissa is coming this way.
Ryan turns around and sees her. Ryan groans.
Seth: Dude, I told you not to look at her. You lost some cool points, just like that (he snaps his fingers).
Ryan: Well, let's just get out of here
Marissa (shouting): Ryan
Seth: Too late.
Seth and Ryan turn around to face her.
Marissa jogs to them.
Marissa: Hey, Ryan. I've been trying to get in touch with you.
Ryan: I've been busy
Marissa: O.K, can I talk to you now?
Seth (starting to walk way): I'll see you guys later.
Ryan: No, Seth, wait for me.
Marissa (disappointedly): Ryan...
Ryan (shrugging his shoulders): I'm really busy. I'll talk to you later.
Ryan walks and catches up with Seth. They both walk away, leaving Marissa standing and staring at them.

Seth: Dude, you have to talk to her sometime.
Ryan: I tried to talk to her about Oliver so many times and she never listened to me. Why should I listen to her now?
Seth: But it's different...
Ryan (growling): How?
Seth: Bro, don't bite my head off... besides (touching the back of his head) my neck is too delicate.
Ryan: Whatever. Anyway, that's why we are going on this road trip, remember? To clear my head?!?
Seth: Yeah! Vegas!
Ryan: Have you booked our room?
Seth: Yeah... but we've got a problem.
Ryan: What now?
Seth: We've got a double room but because they are so full and we are booking late, they cannot guarantee we'll get two separate beds... we might get one king size bed.
Ryan (rolling his eyes): I don't think so... Why not just get two rooms?
Seth: Cos my Dad is not going to spring for two rooms if there are only two of us.
Ryan: Dang! So what are we going to do? I am not sharing a bed with you, dude.
Seth: Er... duh! I was thinking of inviting Anna, so that we can get two rooms...
Ryan(chuckling): Yep, your Mom would insist we get two rooms...
Seth: ...but I don't think she'll want to be the only girl.
Ryan: Then invite Summer too...(frowns) but that would mean that she and I would have to be alone a lot.
Seth starts laughing.
Ryan: I guess we can invite Luke too.
Seth: Sounds like a plan... (thinks for a moment).. then Marissa would be the only one we don't invite. Can we invite her too?
Ryan: NO! Hello, she's part of what I am supposed to be figuring out on the trip.
Seth: True.. so that means we can't invite Summer...
Ryan: Or Anna... so the question is..
Seth (mortified): Who's going to sleep with Luke!?!?
